If Jedi are being owned by Fencers then they need to be beefed up. Fencer doesn't need nerfed. They actually work as intended (except for Scatter Hit 2). All the broken profs. need to stop screaming nerf because they just need fixed. Pistoleer is a crappy profession and I could cry all day about how Riflemen can hit me with insane accuracy, while running away, at the speed cap but I know that Pistoleer just needs fixed.

heh.. There are sects of sword fighters and melee experts that were trained to fight jeedai in combat. And they were successful. Jeedai can only see so far beyond thier fist.

Teras Kasi was designed to fight Jeedai..weapons and armor have been designed to resist lightsabers..

Jeedai are not all powerful. They should be very strong, but they have the same weaknesses as anyone else. Permadeath should've stayed because if this turns into Jeedai online.. well that'll be a sad sad day. Whining about experience differenses is of no issue. You made the decision to be a jeedai.. be lucky they ripped away permadeath after all the whining.. that's annoying, really, hah.

I was jumped by 4 GTEFing Jeedai a few days ago (and a Master Carbineer with was also a Covert).. took them 66 hits to bring me down (But they also weren't guardians..) .. Just because someone doesn't have the force doesn't make their perception any less.. roar. I also didn't fight them correctly.. I was also too busy freaking out wondering why the hell I was being jumped when the Carbineer told me to fight his jeedai to fight him.. dishonorable rebels..

In all threads in all profession forums, Jedi whine, complain, inform or whatever the hell you want to call it. They think that by doing this it is going to make them feel better, inform us of how bad thier profession is, magically fix their supposed broke profession.

I have read over 30 posts by jedi today alone and they all sound the same. We should be the best PVP combat class period. If they had their way they would stand in Theed TEF'd and owning the entire server. They cant help it. It's in their selfish nature. Instead of coming into this forum to help fix problems with FENCER, they choose to banter back and forth as if they were the supreme knowledge of SWG. And they are, in Fantasy Island maybe. Their obnoxious self-serving complaining changes nothing, in their minds they deserve all and you deserve nothing. Go complain to YOUR correspondent and help him to fix your profession (Which in Pub 9 it's all about you so you can stop the childish complaints), please stay out of ours unless you have something to say that is beneficial to all, not just your hologrinding jedi self.

Now that is not to say all Jedi are like this, they are not. I've happened to have met some pretty good sports. They don't complain, they rarely postcomplaints on the boards and they are more than happy to talk to you as an individual. If this happens to be you than obviously I was not talking about you so please ignore the previous rants.

Of course we need fixing, all professions need to be fixed. That is what the ever elusive combat balance is for. So to whine for fixes now is not going to help. Wait untill after the balancing and then whine for changes.

And by the way, ALL but Obiwan and Yoda (according to Lucas) were killed. Yes thats right, KILLED. So if your Jedi happens to get killed by anyone, don't complain, it is your destiny.

Yeah, I've been "pwned"(l33t talk is lame) by fencers swinging stun batons. And I have this to say...

If you want to walk around killing other players, play Counter Strike. This is a MMORPG, emphasis on the RPG. Do I want to be bothered by kiddies who have nothing better to do than kill me when I walk up with a TEF? Nope.

Play a first-person shooter kids.

Thank you for the offer but I do believe there are many others here that could do a much better job in that capacity. I was just to the point to explode listing to all this three year old chatter. It helps no one and only pisses people off.

And role playing can be an excellent part about this game, but I believe this forum should be used to inform, offer suggestions and generaly talk about FENCER issues. Now please understand I do not hate Jedi, as a matter of fact I am enthralled just like the rest, I just dont see Jedi issues helping this forum out much.

This is so GD rediculous it sickens me to even post about it.

For all you asking: "Why do you Jedi think you have to be all powerful?", allow me to retort. I have a Jedi and let me see.....at 4333 Initiate I have killed more things ande xp'ed long enough to get Master fencer EASILY. that is in effect 9 MILLION experience. Now lets see at Jedi Knight I have obtained approximately 180 MILLION Standard weapon xp if you want it for Guardian 0 0 0 0 add another 32 million. So someone else do the math on how many times you can ding master fencer here....and any other added builds...but I think just for the fencer skill tree you are talking something around 4.9 million xp.....enough said.

In NO way shape or means should ANY template be able to solo a Jedi Knight...so all of you saying I am just a better player then you and a better PvP'er whatever. I have been playing the game a LONGtime and been PvP'ing a lot, I'll tell you now though I would rather run from a fencer build now then stand there and lose no matter what i do. Enjoy it while you can the revamp will hit soon, and then this will stop altogether...then all those Imperial fencers/FOTM's I have been force running away from will pay a price.

I took up the fencer prof just to master it and analyze what m,ay be it's wweaknesses and what not....i mastered brawler/fencer in 3 days.....It took almost a MONTH for me to hit Jedi Apprentice, and that was back in November when i unlocked...

Man i have so much to say about this I do not even want to talk about it any more because in reality it is a moot point. Good day to you all.

Are you a dev? How do you know Fencer is working as intended? Trolling someones post with your opinions and not actual facts just makes you look like the foolish one.

Does fencer need a nerf? I didnt say that. Does it need to be fixed? I do believe so. If it were working as intended I dont think we would see the amount of complaints we see.

This is a problem and those that dont think it is are the ones trying to hold onto their god mode fotm professions.

I'm just annoyed at having someone proclaim anyone playing one of the three classes I play is an exploiter.

And these are Fencers saying this, roflmao, you guys are ones to talk about knowing how to PvP,damn near everyone in this forum is aking FOTM-er.

Any of you fencers that havent beaten a Jedi before have no clue how to PvP, its not us that dont know how to fight, its you guys. Because a skilled Fencer PvP-er (rare as they are, seems the prof is full of just defense stackers trying to become invulnerable *cough* *cough*)

So we're all just a bunch of exploiting n00bs who gets kicks out of owning people in PvP using a class requiring zero skill to play?

I shall now prove my skill in PvP by posting screenshots of me and my fencer guildmate owning 10 people.

... okay, so I didn't have an real, sensible responses to the last two either.

Fencers are supposed to be one of the least damage dealing professions in the game because of the defense they have to make up for it.

To be honest, I'd like to answer that with "Are you a dev?".

To be serious, I'd like to like to refer to the dev statement I quoted above. There's no AP on the stun baton and getting a good one requires a looted component.After that we have the fact that multi-pool targeting attacks aren't working as intended. Bugged.

So yeah,fencers arenot working as intended, unless scatter hit2 is supposed to be ignoring all those defenses, which isn't a particularly likely thing, is it. It's a bugged "avenue of attack".

And now I'm cutting the post short since I forgot how I intended to continue...

... and the server is up.

PS. I hate this software. Out of all the possible ways to setup a forum, this one really doesn't work the way it should -_-
