as i was reading the patch notes i was thinking of posting something like this but didn't want to be some negative person on the forums.... glad it got posted though. lol
and what i love about the TRUE FENCERS is that we agree that we shouldn't be '1337' (thats leet) and we do see where balance needs to come into play.

I dropped my Fencer to pick up CM for my ultimate PVP Support role of MD/MCM (it's not that horrible, I just can't ever hit anyone with a real weapon 4114 Marksman) but I think fixing SH2 is a good move to making Fencer a real profession again. No more wannabe fencers filling the servers using a broken system. Eventually I'll probally get bored with CM and come back fencer. Duel-wield by then....crosses fingers

I left a few days before the patch. This was not because of scatterhit but because as a tkm/masterbrawler/fencer I was really getting bored of 2 damage types. IMO that's the one thing melees really need, more damage types. Scatterhit is not a big deal because once combat rebalance occurs, incaps in health and action should be alot more viable.

people are quitting over this? why, its no big deal. scatterhit2's other effect was cheating the system. its only fair.

and yet, the rule of the rifleman still applies. I made the super fencer template to defeat riflemen and cm's.... I suppose I will still get some of them, but not all.

I guess I am missing what I was suppossed to see there. He counterattacked your Cho moks, he counterattacked your shiaks as well.
The Publish notes were very clear about fixing attacks that bypassed toughness. No mention at all was made about Dodge or any other defense.

Previously, synthsteak would not protect you against scatterhits, now it will. Bang, instant 45% reduction in your PVP damage. It affects all of your savy PVP opponents: not just the melee classes with toughness skill mods.
This, fellow fencers, is something that your correspondant is championing, and cheering for.

Not a fencer, but BWuahahahahaha. I put one like that in my server forum. It must means less lag and more loot/missions/spawns for the rest of us.
