say if your using a curved sword and insted of unequiping it you put it in a scheth(you know the things that holds swords that are in a belt) and somewhere in fencer your able to pull out your scheth as well as your sword and you can fight with it as a sorta effective weapon to either block or attack.
You mean sheath? So your saying we should be able to fight with sheaths?
There is an excellent post out there filled with ACTUAL Star Wars weaponry, some of which sound like very probable choices for a new Fencer weapon.

The Adumari Blast Sword, think virboraipier with a blaster in the tip, offers a different aspect to the Fencing skill being that the blade is not only a vibro weapon but it also has blast damage! Imagine a blade with two forms of damage affecting at once. Yummy.
The Togorian Vibro Simitar. Expensive, classy, deadly. It embodies the fencer's nature of skill and elegant grace.
Personally, the thought of a foil being put into a Star Wars game makes me want to cry. The vibro raipier even sounds a little too un Star Wars-ish.At first the thought of the Adumarian Blast sword didn't appeal to me, but if we found a way to incorporate kenetic damage as well asenergy, that would make a truly unique weapon for a unique class of fighter.

Swords!! We need swords! No more plumbing pipes!
These weapons should have an AP, and speed. Need to be realistically upgradable.
New weapon damage, electricity, etc.
New sword certs should reflect their power inhowhigh they are in the elite profession trees. Techniques should be the main tree to put the certifications.

I think having a rapier certificate at Master is a good idea. And it won't look fruity IF the Dev's put something special on it.....What I'm thinking is a Piercing or Jab special that either slows or does higher damage to your opponent when you connect.
