Correct it is 125 - though you can take it higher with attachments and the dodge food.
You sure? I know with food you can go over the cap but attachments?

wow this is sweet then...just like pistoleer 1-0-0-3 with some medic and master rifleman will be pretty cool combo.

Yes. With attachments you can go to 150, and the food can raise it from there.

Hehe seriously. To make things even more interesting use ranged defense as an example. You can cap at 125 from profession skill stacking. Then you can benefit from up to +25 from clothing/armor attachments. Then you can be grouped with a master squad leader for another +30. That is 180 ranged defense. And on top of that if you are in a player city and on the militia you get another bonus though I don't recall what it is. So in theory you could have close to 200 ranged (or melee) defense.
With all the layers of defense players have it is a wonder we get hit at all sometimes hehe
Melee/Ranged Defense
Dodge/Block/Counterattack
Toughness
Melee/Ranged Mitigation
PvP reduction
Foods/Drink
Armor
Buffed Secondaries
WOW hehe

Remember, Dodge will not work when you are holding a rifle.

Yes. With attachments you can go to 150, and the food can raise it from there.
But remember, the number listed on your stat sheet might say 150, that doesnt mean you are getting anything over 125. The only thing I have heard is that 125 is the solid cap, but food(as per chefs requests) can take you over the cap. Can you point me to a link that shows a difference in amounts of dodging from 125 to 150 using skill attachments?

I know that it does not work while holding a rifle, but it will work while holding a one handed weapon. With my template i got it to be 130 dodge...can't get exactly 125 according to character builder. Anyone know if I'm wrong about that?

What weapons can you hold and still get your dodge, I know you can do it with pistols and one haned weapons. Can you dodge while unarmed?
Just wondering cuz i'm thinking of going TKM, BH 3000, Pistoleer 4040. Wanted to know if I'd be able to dodge jedi while I Teras Kasi them up and down.

you can dodge unarmed but the dodge mods from pistoleer and fencer do not affect your chances, i don't know if attachments and food would affect your chances to dodge an attack unarmed though
