Master Brawler
Combat Prowess 0/0/4/4

There has been no confirmation one way or the other weather the state defenses stack... however even if they do they would not be effective above 95.

Enhancer 0400
32 Fencer Toughness,30 Jedi Toughness, Force Absorb 2, Brawler Intimidate, and Force Feedback2 if needed, capped almost all state effects ranged and melee def, and throw in the jedi healing to boot.
The big weakness with this template is dots

Minerunner was nice enough to set up a thread for Fencer+FS skills templates, you'll likely get better feedback from there.

oh and just so you all know, i dueled a Knight last night with novice defender. He had just changed his template and wanted to try it out. Defender made a DRASTIC improvement from anything i could do to him.

A nice template would be
Master fencer/Master defender/medic 2340
With this template you should be able to still wear armor but still get the defenses and toughness from defender.
I think it is like another 45%

I never thought about switchng up a template like this...but would you really wanna hack up a Jedi like this? I can see these Templates as being great defenders, but with the state of Fencer damage..but that will is all reletive considering the combat revamp comin.

The thing is that force powers don't work in armor. One of the things you can do though is go TKA/Master defender, that gives you the 54% reduction from TKA, and then the 56% I think it is from defender along with the 80+% reduction from armor. Practically invincible to other melee classes.

you only get the jedi toughness with a lightsaber in your hand.. didnt read all this post so i dont know if it was posted already or not

I must say if you want to mix fencer with jedi you should only take the skills that you can use with armor on else it is useless, maby some defender and the poisen res in enhancer. But fx the force intimidate is not worth it. You can not have armor on and use it, and it is no more effective than the one in norvice brawler, it lasts longer tho. But allmost every one can cure intimidate. A fencer with out armor agianst anything than a jedi is no go to low def, dogde do not save you all the time.
