At what level will you be able to make buffs ? Or is that just for docs ?

Secondly what are the requirements for makeing a buff ?

- You start to make buffs at Doctor.
- Buffpacks (D) require:

1. Requires 22 units of Avian Meat
2. Requires 22 units of Reactive Gas
3. Requires 1 Solid Delivery Shell
4. Requires 2 identical Chemical Release Duration Mechanism
5. Requires 3 identical Biological Effect Controller

Realistically, Number 4 and 5 will be Advanced.

Okay, let's get this straight; you're too lazy to do a search of this forum and think that 6 minutes more of time spent with an elite performer is a waste of time?

And people wonder why performers get frustrated.

Calm down guys.

The answer took me about two minutes to find (yes I did know it already but wanted to see how long it would take). all I did was search buff time on this forum and picked a few posts.

The answer is that you need 120 'ticks' each 10 seconds of playing is a tick and each flourish is a tick. Maximum number of flourishes in 10 seconds is 5. Therefore the quickest possible time to reach 120 is 3min 20 seconds.

Note that is likely to require a buffed quickness and uses the /setperform method not the group method.

I trust this helps, please remember the search function in future as it saves the board getting too cluttered.

Ooohhh, I forgot..... I do not use a speed buff macro, I just make sure someone can heal me then I just flourish almost constantly for 4 minutes. I like playing my "own songs" and I change songs regularly during buffing. Makes it interesting to me as I never have to listen to the same thing every time I want to give a buff.

Anyone else find it humorous that the same poster who says 'if you don't have anything nice to say...', says that in the same breath as 'shut your pie hole', then follows up with 'shmuck' and a comment on game life being better than real?

Now,let me quote a phrase from the Terms of Use for Star Wars Galaxies, which you agree to every time you click the accept button and log in:

"you may not use or distribute macros or other programs which would allow unattended game play."

So, your buffbot is in direct violation of the rules of the game. Use it while you can, but let me ask you this:

When recursive macros are nerfed, and your bot is rendered nearly useless, where will you turn for buffs and heals? To the same people you've just told to "shut your pie hole"?

On the other hand, you COULD try to make friends with one or more real entertainers. You COULD end up using that alt account for a profession you would actually ENJOY playing, and at the same time, get people into your guild that enjoy doing what you so obviously do not.

I think "shut your pie hole" was appropriate. Why the need to flame someone for asking a question? Elite profession? I think you people need to get off the boards and back in the game. Six minutes is a long time to spend with someone considering you wait at least 30 mins for any entertainer to check their computer, because 95% of entertainers are AFK. For that reason alone Buff bots are created, oh wait, here's the part where I get told that "...well on Bleh Server I'm never AFK". Ya ya...tight knit community? Sure, of flamers for the most part, I read quite a few posts, seems that some of you Community Elders get your pts with flaming any post generated by someone other than your "close knit community".

I seriously hope they don't follow through on nerfing recursive macros, would be a shame to have to start tipping you afk entertainers.

Feel free to flame away.....

Guys, I actually don't think that the original poster deserved that response. That's the kind of response that makes people think us entertainers are snooty and "exclusive." He asked for help for something, and even if you didn't want to take the time to answer the same question, your response to this person could have been a lot less rude.

Having said that, however, in a subsequent post he said he was a buffbot. And, most of us on these forums are very much against buffbots because they destroy our profession, so you are more than likely not going to get an answer to help you destroy our gameplay. It's best you do a forum search and then leave or things are gonna get inflammatory.

Actually, the server will accept flos SLIGHTLY faster than 5 every 10 seconds. It can take them as fast as 5 every 7.something. However I have not reliably been able to flo them on a 7 second cycle so I do an 8 second cycle. Lag is a factor, and in crowded cantinas you sometimes do not even get every 8 seconds. My method...the "Patent Pending Fragpuppie Uber 3:10Quickbuff" (search for that title to find the thread) is, as advertised, a 3:10 method that I use all the time. In theory, if you do constant flos (and I mean CONSTANT) and count them, you can do it even faster. You just need to hit that magic 120 ticks and flos. That was how the old Superspeed buffs worked before they were changed.
