My question is I've gone to entertainer mission terminals and selected missions, sometimes as low as difficulty 0. But only once, and I'm not sure if it was a fluke, did it actually tell me I was done. I must have danced in there at least an hour and a half. Does anyone know if there's a standard time frame, or any other info as to how to complete and know when these entertainer missions are completed? I'm just not sure what to look for here.

Pixie,

Sadly, entertainer missions are really only a cruel joke that was played on us. They take *forever* even if you can get them to finish and pay next to nothing. My advice is don't bother with them, you'll only get frustrated

Hi, Pixie-

I generally found entertainer missions to take 15-20 minutes. I agree with the previous poster that the entertainer missions leave alot to be desired and are broken some of the time, however, 90+% of my missions where completed successfully. I disagree with the previous poster becuase if you take missions that are local to you, they can be a great way to generate a bit of extra income as well as give you something to do when the cantina is dead.

Have fun,

If you want to take missions to get dance xp you can do these missions. If you want to make some money it is more efficient to double up delivery missions to the same city. I Think I did 1 or 2 Ent missions and never did another. Ent missions leave much to be desired

Welcome to the entertainment world!

I tried a couple of entertainer missions when I first started, but found them to be sorely lacking. No specific instructions were available, no time frame given and the payout was appalling. I can't even remember getting any xp from them, to be honest. Lei is right, delivery missions from the general mission terminals (the ones with the gold screen) are your best bet. Make SURE you get the "Delivery" ones! You don't want to find yourself in the wilderness facing off a lair of angry spineflaps with nothing more than a hairbrush and a bright smile!

You can start off by taking low payingmissions (less than 100 credits) within your town until you raise enough to use the shuttle for higher paying ones. Utilize the planetmapso you can get an idea of the direction and number of meters a particular city is from you. For example, I started out in Moenia and took 2 missions at a time to and from Kaadara - making about 800-900 credits each, minus the shuttle cost. Try to avoid the lag of bigger cities until you feel more comfortable with the game (although the payout to places like Theed and Coronet are generally higher). Be prepared to do a lot of running back and forth from one side of town to the other, too!

And what to do with the money? Well, buy clothes, of course! A dancer has to look good when she falls, doesn't she?

Let us know which server and planet you are on. You will find that the community of live entertainers where ever you areatare most likely going to be supportive and fun to be with!

I found the same thing. I only had one of 4 or 5 missions end and pay off. That was before the last update, however. Delivery missions are fine...provided you have the credits for transportation or transportation of your own.

Each of the Cantinas or Hotels I was sent to had only NPC's in them...and you know...the NPC's don't tip well *giggle*

My suggestion is to get what real life entertainers call a "Survival Job"...(something non Ent related that pays well in order to get money for the things you need)

Delivery missions in town at least make a little money and can be compleated. They also get you familiar with the city you're in. Run an number of these to build up a little credit cushion.Next, get Marksman training, invest in a decent pistol and kill small furry creatures or bugs when you need a little cash.

An Entertainer will find it difficult to live on tips alone...so a little bit of side work is going to make your life EVER so much easier (and you'll be able to afford to buy some pretty dance outfits!!!!)

Ask your BF or people you meet in the Cantina while danceing about combat or hunting stratigies. Most of the time...they LOVE to help the "clueless girl" out. This will also help you to get the customers to open up and talk while getting healed!

The only times I was able to get Entertainer missions to work for me was in Bestine. I didn't try them in all cities, but they always worked in Bestine if I was able to dance. It took 10 minutes, almost exactly (I timed it, I was curious). I rinsed and repeated at least 5 times with 2 missions in the Datapad each time. Then, I went to Theed, and they didn't work. I don't know what the difference was.

I'm Master Entertainer and Master Musician w/ Novice Dancer. I was reading the posts about the new song and how we'll have to get it by questing. As much as I dislike doing entertainer missions because of the low pay and long distance many of them are from the terminal I thought I'd just do a few just to get myself reaquainted with doing missions.

NEway, I opened the terminal and started browsing missions. Dancer, dancer, dancer, dancer...hrm...no musician missions. Then I noticed the tabs at the top of the window. Ahh...Dancer / Musician...well DUH.... no wonder. So I clicked the Musician tab, started browsing the mission...Dancer, dancer, dancer...??

ARE there musician missions?

Yup, this is yet another bug in the missions system. The missions you find under the Music tab of the Entertainer Mission Terminals are for music, but they are titled "Dancer." It's not so confusing there since you have a music tab. What IS confusing is when you take an Entertainer Mission from an NPC. Even when it's a music mission, it reads "Dancer," so you have to read through the mission details story to see whether or not you're supposed to dance or play music. Of course, sometimes there's a good story behind the mission, but that's no excuse for not having changed the titles in the year since Entertainer Mission Terminals were introduced.

and.....

The terminal missions have no relation to the "quests" (and I put it in quotes for good reason) that are required fro the new song and dance.

Those "quests" come from Theatre managers in NPC theatres. They are up on Testcenter, but not yet live.

I read somewhere that mission payouts for Entertainers had been raised. I've never done any of the missions, and was bored, so I tried one. 1k? that's an increase? What were the payouts before?
