Yeah..I figure they think we're just too darn l337 as it is. And to be honest..if we got 10k per mission..those fools would still spam for tips.

LOL you're right..they would still spam and still be AFK. I didn't expect them to be in the lines of combat payout...but come on 1k?

Why should they not be in line with combat missions?
I spend more skillpoints on Master Dancer than a TKA does on Master-TKA.
But then again, this game centers totally around combat, hope that gets fixed soon, there are other playstyles too.

I didn't expect them to be in line with combat mission payouts, don't think it's fair..but if you look at it from another standpoint..we don't have to buff, weapons, armor, food etc..so I didn't expect a 9k mission..but I was thinking more along the lines of maybe 3k or so.
But then again I don't think after all the work we do for Master Dancer we get 3 flourishes...

That payout ammount is actually pretty good. You can take two missions at once which means a payout of 2000-2500 every 10 mins or so depending upon the cantina you use. 12k credits an hour
(A couple of the cantinas have terms right outside).
The old system gave us 400 credits every 10 mins. 2400 credits an hour.
If you dance 5 hours a week as a casual player this means 60k a week now + any tips you'd regularly make. That's enough to support a home or even a cantina for sure

Dancer loot for teh win!
wouldn't it be great for some entertainer exclusive clothing loot drops that only novice dancers or novice musicians could wear. Clothes that are male/female friendly!

My real problem with the missions is that the split with the group -- 1k split between many people (most of them being AFK currently) is still kind of blah. But personally I slacked off and didn't help in Deila's discussion thread before these went live so I'll mostly just keep my fingers shut.

I'm not really sure they paid much mind to that thread. As most of the arguments that were good ones had the min being 1-3k and the max 5-10k. and a 1k-10k range would be pretty interesting, and certainly NOT unbalancing in the amount of credits it would pump into the system. If I could do a couple 10k missions an hour I wouldn't mind sitting in some outpost with no one around for a bit. As it is I tend to just play in the starports to entertain Docs and those waiting in line for them. I get far more tips doing that then I do sitting in a cantina. And it's a lot more interesting.

Woohoo.
A combat char can make that money easily with two missions, even unbuffed. I'm a TKA too and can run 6k missions on Tatooine, unbuffed and solo, and I don't take long with each mission.
As TKA I have zero weapon-decay (since i fight unarmed), zero armor decay (unarmored) almost zero chance of death (the 6k critters don't DB), and I don't need food.

As a master dancer I have no interest ormotivation whatsoever to do entertainer missions. For what? $1K? For-get-it.

I personally dont bother doing entertainer missions, if the terminal was inside the cantina, and accessable while dancing i would, but stopping your 'performance' to run outside and get a mission seems a bit anti-social to me, and didnt play dancer for credits anyhow (however i still like tips as its a sign of appreciation)

We've got a revamp coming up in a few months. That's our chance to make our profswhat we want them to be. If we're still stuckon havingterminal-based missions at that time, maybe the devs can hook them in to the loot table or, at the very least, increase payout to something more realistic. But I'd like for us to think more "out of the box" than mission terminals. We could be/have a whole lot more..but it will be up to us to define it.
Hey guys
I've got an all dancer character on Scylla i think, (Can't remember off the top of my head), when is the revamp coming out? Does anyone know??
Also, i think its good that they've raised the payout for entertainer missions, but from 1-2k???I meen COME ON! That is NOTHING!!You get more money for running womp rat missions! (Example)
Mary-For-A Million -- 2/0/3/4 entertainer, nearly Novice Dancer
