I accepted an NPC granted entertainer mission the other night. Well I deleted one that was 17,000 meters away and got some strange music. I got an artisan mission from a different one and cancelled that with no music, I tried the entertainerguy again ... 14,000 meters *cancel* and the music happens again. So now I'm like, does this music mean something? It only happens when I cancel these entertainer missions. So I try again and the guy only wanted me to go up the road to the local cantina so I figured what the heck.

I hit myself with an action buff andI go off into a side roomas I didn't want to group with the entertainers there (but I wasn't looking to steal their business either). Luckily a Combat Medic spied me in the corner and kept me all healed up so I let loose with popular2 and flourished like a maniac.

10 minutes... nothing

15 minutes... nothing.

20 minutes... nothing.

25 minutes ... my brother is calling me to come hunt with him. I tell him I'm busy and would in a minute (figuring the mission reward was going to kick in any second now)

30 minutes ... Brother: you coming? Me: uh sure... waiting for the dang shuttle (/snicker)

35 minutes... is where I threw in the towel

153credits and after 35 minutes no reward? I just wanted to see if there was a reason I got goofy music for cancelling the others.

I agree with Goldy. I tried one and it didn't work - spent a lot of time on one mission and nothing came from it! :\

They all work. It's just that some missions take longer than others. I've spent a couple of hours on certain missions, but they all pay out eventually. Certainly they are broken, but not in the sense that they never pay out.

You do have to go inside the building, and perform for ten minutes straight without stopping. This may require usinga lower-level song/dance, someone to heal you, or a stamina buff.

And also, all the entertainer missions have a type of "Dancer"; check the long description to see whether you need to dance or play an instrument.

I,ve tried a couple of entertainer missions where i have to go and dance for someone or a group of people, but when i get to the waypoint no-one is there. Do i have to go into the building that the waypoint is in front of and look for them or do i start dancing in the middle of the street and hope that the required person comes along to pay me. I've tried a few of these missions now and havent got paid for any of them.

When you get an Entertainer Mission, you head to the Waypoint, and it will usually lead you to the Door of a Building. At that time, you enter the building, and just dance/play music for 5-10 minutes (I can't remember the time sink there), and when the time is up, you'll be rewarded your money.

My tip is to finda Cantina with an Entertainer Terminal outside, and keep Refreshing till you see a mission that takes you to the Cantina you are by. Grab 2 of the missions leading to the same Cantina, go in and do your stuff and get payed twice.

I had to dance for 15 minutes straight to get a payout today. I've been unable to figure out how to get one for Music, which I'd rather, because even though I'm going for Master Entertainer I'm more interested in Music. (I really can't stand the comments dancers get.)

Any suggestions?

I was wondering how they work. Do you perform at the waypoint or in the building? How do you know how long you have to perform?

P.S. I'm stuck on Talus right now and ent missions are the only easy way of making money without doing rebel missions. I can't do missions from the Imp Outpost because there are too many red spawns in that area and I keep getting killed.

Perform in the building. Do yourself a favor and get two missions to the same place of the same type; you get the second rewards one tick after the first. And consider yourself lucky; back in the day gig missions were given by random faction NPCs in the wild and 'a noble' in theaters; you could only have one of each type and no choice as where.

Though I think they paid out about twice as much.
