Well I have noticed that high BF indeed increases the damage I take when I fight! If I get about 100 BF I can feel it and over 200 I cant really fight - taking lots of damage! I always fight with no armor though .....

Anyway I would love if anyone knew if the devs ever have explained this whole BF-thing

Imust admit i've maxed out my bf before (1000) and i didn't notice a great deal of difference to just general combat. then again i didn't really put it to the test that much, i wanted rid of it so i could get another buff.

like everyone else though, i'd really like to know what BF really does.

I just searched and looked at the history of battle fatigue threads, and it seems the consensus is that increased BF means you get wounds faster, get healed for less, HAM regen dwindles, and enemies hit more often -- as some posted above.

I guess what I regarded as decreased accuracy was really me getting hit more often. dunno/

Well, from my experience hunting NS elders, I can say that the damage I deal does not change at all from 0 BF to 1000 BF. The only thing that it seems to have changed with me is my ability to heal myself at the 500 mark and the healing of wounds and appling buffs at 250.

I think it would be nice to know what Battle Fatigue actually does....

In the "Adventure Manual" (the booklet you get with the game) it says that battle fatigue, "which accumulates after you recievea significant number of wounds.Battel fatigue prevents you from healing attribute wounds, so it is vital that you remove all of your battle fatigue periodcally." Granted lots of the info in here is out of date with all the new stuff SOE has placed into the game. So I think someone should tell us what it really does, because it is a right for us to know.

At about 40-60 BF my combat accuracy becomes noticeably worse, and steadily declines as BF increases

at about 100 it takes me twice as long to kill something than with no BF.

Interesting.... I use to think that too but not anymore.

The other day I got buffed and went to endor and walked the planet killing everything I saw, including Death watch wraiths and blacksun assassins.

I got poisoned and diseased by many different creatures...

My Master in TkA and Rifles was able to heal and cure everything of course except BF.
During that walk I never saw myself slowing down or missing, by the time I was done my BF was over 300.

Of course a Master TK and Rifleman has a ton of accuracy already so it is possible my bf didn't get high enough to matter yet.

yes, i think how obvious the accuracy drop is depends on your profession. When I was a Pikeman i would notice after like 25! Pistoleer like 40 and as a Swordsman about 60-70. I HATE missing, so I'm very sensitive to it..

what cures battle fatigue? mine is a 963, admittedly a noob here, im guessing that frequent incapacitations cause it, also it took me a long time before i figured out where to get food and drink which i ran abput fighting without eating or drinking at all for days on end before i finally brought up my char sheet for something...i dont even remember why...and there is this huge number in battle fatigue....yixe, i wonder what actions or types of actions might be involved in bringing it back down a bit, possibly it decreases as you stay alive ingame...or is r&r a necessary part of recovery, from bf? actual time spent in recuperation i mean as opposed to just staying alive and unincapacitaded for longer stretches and no other types of positive actions help? or do these have nothing to do with it

ok im beginning a ramble....so...

i guess im asking what increases and what decreases battle fatigue. what player actions can i take solo to manage it, and what options i have from the local ingame community that could help

anyway thx

BF accumulates whenever you engage in combat. To get rid of it go to any cantina where Entertainers are dancing. Most larger cities have pretty crowded cantinas. Bring up a radial on a entertainer and choose either "start watching" for dancers or "start listening" for musicians. Then sit back and watch your BF melt away.

The one crucial thing about BF. It actually makes you unable to loot on the ground. I think it's 600 BF that's the limit for that.

Another point. Sorry to ask this way because i am at work now and can't try it by myself.

Is the Scout/Ranger camp BF heal bug fixed yet? It wasn't contrawise developers promises working. A performing entertainer can't heal BF in a camp.
I am just curious because it was quite annoying to realized it by chance.

what are the consequences for having high bf now?

SOE's philosophy in a nutshell is this. If someone or a group of people are special, and different from others, then by all means strip the special people of the things that made them special in the first place. Do this so that the not- so- special people dont feel bad about themselves. By all means DO NOT encourage the not- so -special people to strive to themselves become special. Its not like we all didnt start with 250 credits a cdef and a melon.
