At about 40-60 BF my combat accuracy becomes noticeably worse, and steadily declines as BF increases
at about 100 it takes me twice as long to kill something than with no BF.

i dunno fellas... i tend to generate a lot of BF during the day (or several days), and i never notice a decline in my combat abilities. The only thing i've ever really noticed was the buffing deal. Even when my BF gets up to 400 or so, i dont notice any deficiencies... but i could be wrong. It would be cool to know for sure i spose.

I read somewhere that you also take more damage from poisons with high BF..

aye, and watch your combat tab... you should notice that you're missing more frequently.

High battle fatigue affects both buffing and wound healing..... anything over 250 seems to subtract an equal amount from buffing or wound healing of your BF.
It also affects your accuracy, number of hits, and (though I haven't noticed, it sounds reasonable) the amount of damage you do.
We need tohave dancers and musicians be able to heal BF in campsites along with mind wounds, only sounds right. Otherwise, if your BF gets high, you're still weaker, won't get good buffs (my MD rebuffed himself with 709 BF and got only 1300 buffs, even with Bivoli, BE clothing and Medical/Surgical Droid).
It's ridiculous to be able to have doctors buff, heal H and A wounds, and dancers/musicians heal mind wounds in a campsite, but then everyone, including the doctors, dancers and musicians themselves, have to go to a city (sometimes FAR AWAY) with a cantina to heal BF. Come on, Devs!!!

I remember hearing or reading somewhere that it also effects the time it takes for your stomach to empty.

Wow, that's nice to know. I knew there was a reason I always got rid of BF as soon as possible.

I have noticed that I start having some problems healing myself when I have more then 700 in bf (Master Doc with stims E) except from that I seem to fight pretty okey.

I have never noticed any decrease in my accuracy/damage from BF.
If the devs were going to give you a hit against your combat, i highly doubt it would be at 60 on a scale of 0-999 (basically 10% of your max BF). Maybe somewhere around 500ish would be more reasonable for this to start happening.
Anyway, on to what BF does:
BF above 250 reduces medicine effectivness, whether you're applying to someone else, yourself, or having it applied to you.
As youget more BF, you also take more wounds.
As you take more wounds, you alsoget more BF.
Higher BF with cause you take more damage from disease (since it coorelates to wounds/BF) - the longer the disease ticks, the more BF and wounds you gain per tick.
BF maxes at 999, and i have had 999 bf several times, and never noticed a decrease in my combat abilities.
