We were awful on Test Center, n'Jessi, Pappi, and I just kept cueing them up and going "ooooooh" and cheering for the droids.
Pappi was the worst, she would have all the effects going at the same time! heh
I'm a big fan of the "Birds in the Clouds" look and think that may be done really well with a spoken word routine maybe.I'm looking forward to reading your new guide!
hey... i didn't have them on *all at once*, they were on 3s intervals (which i discussed with TK421, they should increase the lower delay to something around 5-10s, a few of those droids can probably overload the server by themselves O.o)

You mean that wasn't artistic expression?
I was very moved by the Dancing Jawas in Foam bit! ![]()
uh oh! she's on to us!

somehow i think the corrs are tired of me stalking them, and are now stalking me instead O.o
Thought i would hop in here and give one piece of advice.
Although its true that you need novice musician program the droid, if he has a playback track that contains Starwars1 i think you can still get him to start up with /bandstart starwars1
If i am mistaken i apologize.
Any novice entertainer..and that includes anyone who is a dancer can play starwars1...you just need a slitherhorn. I realize its not much, but at least you could have one song you could dance to...just have the musician record using the Bandfill, at least that way you have a nice rockin bass track to dance to.
Take out your slitherhorn make sure your droid is grouped with you..it wont work otherwise. and type /bandstart Starwars1 once the droid starts playing...type /stopmusic...this way you will stop playing but the droid will continue to function. You can then start dancing. You can flourish the droid with bandflourish + instrument..in this case /bandflo <1-8> Bandfill
I am pretty sure this works although being a master musician i cant really reliably test this theory, so someone who has no music skills needs to try it.

Now assuming you can do just this, would it stand to reason that you could input two bandflo's at the same time but specify? hmmm i wonder if you could do like
/bandflo 4 Nalgaron
/bandflo 2 Bandfill
and if timed right it would execute at the same time?
i will have to try this out..if its possible it would make writing a song macro much easier then creating two scripts

Yes, you can do exactly that. Normal flourishes and bandflourishes, if executed right after the other, will queue up and play when they get their turn. However, if you execute a /bandflourish for a specific instrument, anyone in the band NOT playing that instrument will basically act as if no /bandflourish was issued. In other words, nothing gets queued up.
So whether you're using droids or not, you could actually write a macro that looks like this:
/bandfl 1 mand; (btw yes, you can abbreviate instrument names here)
/bandfl 4 band;
/bandfl 8 narl;
/bandfl 2 kloo;
/pause 4
/bandfl 3;
Now these are just random numbers, but if you executed this macro, the mandiviol, bandfill, narlagon, and kloo horn players would each do their requested flourishes at the same time. Anyone playing other instruments (fanfar, omni box, whatever) would NOT fourish. 4 seconds later, everyone would do a /bandflourish 3.
This is a really great way to write songs, and now that we can use droids to help us mix and match flourishes, it should be easier (before, I had to find some poor soul to sit there and let me /bandflourish them for an hour
).
And you can abbreviate them more than that.... My music has such cryptic things in it as /b 2 b or /b 6 m. The only ones you need 2 letters on is fi and fa. (Fizzz and fanfar)
I do really like these new droids, but there is a massive bug with recording the same song on one droid (with two different instruments). When you do this, one of three things happens. You can start up the droid, and he'll play whichever instrument you specified, then when you start playing, it will either flip the instrument its playing to another recorded instrument, not allow the droid to flourish, or not allow you to accept bandflourishes (you can flourish solo, but bandflo's don't work).
