I owul dlike to see the type of effects and such it could do all said and done - any news when these would hit TC?


If they work well as an addition to an act instead of a replacement is what I want. It owuld also have to have a storage unit in it.

Burgerking: I was excited about the new droids (even though very few entertainers actually asked for them), so I wanted to find a way to entice entertainers to buy one. At 60k (or even 10k), some entertainers won't find much motivation in using them at the status quo. If there is a change, then entertainers may be more inclined to buying droids plus batteries.


I put forth a proposal in the hopes that the correspondents for the entertainer communities will bring it to the devs. Perhaps you could take a look at it and make some suggestions.

I used to be against healing anywhere, but considering the recent state of cantinas, I'm more in favor of it, especially if it means droid engineers get love.

Love Star Wars, but the few role-players I could find on the servers were outnumbered by powergamers who wanted only l337 l00t and mad skillz. I can't justify paying $15 a month to play a game by myself.
Still cares enough to interject an opinion, though.

Me? I like gadgets and droids... but as an entertainer, I'm not interested. We don't need entertainer droids.


This is a bandage for a profession that just needed a good hot meal.

Entertainers, specifically musicians, DID ask for droid help, but what we wanted was droid pet band members. A second instrument or 2 to fill in the sound and maybe make healing go faster. What NOBODY wanted was a way to spam cantinas with flashy lights. Its a stupid concept and no one asked for it, sorry, but don't look for entertainer droids to be your new cash cow.

Hi folks,


I'm currently working my way throught he musician ranks (as 'fingerz' on flurry). Introduction over


Anyway, I've got myself a shiney new entertainer droid, which I've set up with a bunch of effects and will record a song to shortly (been reading other threads here about how the band flourishes work with the driod).


My question is this - other than being pretty cool, and a funky addition to a band, does the driod serve any other purpose? Can you use it to get extra XP? Does it improve effectiveness at healing? etc. etc.


Also, I'm really struggling to find where I would find this information for myself, without having to ask others for it? Could I have answered my own question by looking in the right place?

The pretty effects serve no purpose in terms of gameplay mechanics.No bonuses, anything like that.

A good place to start for information is the knowledge base. You can get to it in-game by hitting ctrl-H and clicking on (I believe) customer service. However, it's not infallible, and I know last time I looked it had slightly inaccurate information on entertainer droids.
