As entertiners, I think the droids are a real help if your going to earn any tips at all ( and it's hard work for sure ) you need to look good sound good and know how to engage the crowd , holo emotes work well for me as people seem to forget they are there.

At whatlevel of entertainer can I use the droids? Am I limited by level as to what effects I can have them perform? I was hoping to see something about this stickied, any help would be appreciated.

i was under the impression that novice entertainer could use the effects built into droids, such as electric fog, but this is not the case. Other people i've talked to that are not musicians or dancers and just have entertainer have been able to use the effects. Is there some sort of pre-requisite that you need to be able to execute these things?

You need to be at least a novice dancer or novice musician to use the effects droid. Novice musicians also can use the playback droid.

Cancelled 7/27/05 - I joined to play Star Wars, not Jedi-BH Wars. You've ignored/gutted/abused just about every other profession in the game, while spending most of your time working on Jedi and BH as they related to Jedi. You've basically killed the game for anyone who doesn't want the glowstick. Congratulations.

Starsider:

I'm a Master Droid Engineer, Master Artisan and Master Architect and I'm having difficulty making a R2 Droid: Advanced Model that can use all 6 special effects that entertainers use. A DE can only put one combat capable socket cluster and place it into a R2. Those things are what house 3 of the special effects modules but I can't use 2 Combat Capable Socket Clusters into a R2.

The schematic for an R2 says that I can place a Droid Defensive Module Harness into a R2: Advanced Module but I can't find the schematic when I'm in front of a crafting station. What am I doing wrong?

You can only have 5 modules in an R2, if you want all 6 you need an R3.
