Thread: Jabbas palace

It's a great idea, but there's a big problem. Entertainers can't get in unless they have major combat skills. Since August last year I have lobbied SOE to give entertainers non-combatquests that will gain entrance to Jabba's Palace, but so far to no avail.
Well, I agree that there should be a non-combat way for entertainers to gain admittance. However, I disagree that you need "major combat skills" to do the quests.
Most of them are simple "run 700m away, escort someone back here" quests. The ones that do involve actual combat are pretty low level. If you have at least some marksman or brawler skills, you'll be fine. And unless you're a full on master dancer/musician/entertainer, chances are you have at least a little combat skill. Well unless you're all entertainment and crafting. Then again, I knew someone who was a master dancer/master tailor, and she still had points left for enough marksman to solo the Jabba's quests.
Ok whatever, now I'm rambling. The point is YES, there should be a non-combat way to gain admittance if they someday allow entertainer healing to take place in the throne room. (I like the idea of either a special entertainer quest, or allowing only master dancers, musicians and entertainers to enter via this second door.) However I don't want some entertainer reading this to think "Oh it's high level combat I could never get in with just my novice fencer skills" because it's simply not true. ![]()

Ahem, that's flatly untrue
As you can see in my sig, I had plenty of skill points left over after Musician and Entertainer to become a master in TK, and when I did the quests a few days ago, I did them easily unbuffed and without armor.
Now, I'd be more willing to agree that entertainers aren't willing/wanting to invest the skill points in combat professions
