I'd love to use that throne room as a cantina... But something just frighten me.

I think, even with the legendary good health we Trandoshan have, I think I would die instant from a heart attack at the first "HEAL ME, TIP ME PLZPLZPLZ" *spammer smiles* yell I would hear in the Jabba's Throne Room...
Sorry for the cynical pessimism

I love this idea. As a player of both a Master Bounty Hunter and a Musician/Pistoleer character.... I have often wondered why once we gain access to Jabba's thrown room there are not some kind of special mission terminals in there for only those who have completed the theme park.

I will go so far as to say that I don't think it should even be BH only.... the shuttles off world are too far away to make it a convenient place to start hunting bounties. I think the mission terms, if there ever are any put in, should be for anyone who completes the "theme park" missions. They should be a little more special than the average mission and should always involve going to take out Jabba's enemies or competition. Some could be on Tatooine, but I think it would be cool if some higher paying ones were off planet on Corellia, Naboo, Talus, Rori... and perhaps even the harder "adventure planets".

As far as the Entertainers go... I would think that any entertainer could get through the missions solo with buffs, or with an escort of some kind. However, it does make sense that entertainers gain entrance to play there on their main professions merits, so I put my vote in for separate entertainer missions for them (us!) to gain entrance.

Which is why I think a Jabba's Palace entertainer quest should be for master level entertainers only. Masters need no heals (because they don't need XP) and they usually make enough from buffs to be self-supporting. If only masterdancers/musicians were allowed in, we'd get better music, and we'd getvery littlespam.

"Never forget... it's not really a palace. He's a vile Hutt crime-lord, and NOT a nice guy... "

Oh come on! Jabba is totally misunderstood. That Twilek dancer he fed to the Rancor beasthad obviously transgressed the unwritten law. I realise that both the Empire and the Rebellion are a bit biased against Jabba, but let's not get taken in by propaganda. Jabba is just a sweetie at heart. He's like a teddy bear, except without the fur and with added slime. Give the old Hutt a break. He had a difficult childhood, and he needs our support, not our condemnation.

I think making Jabba's have a cantina function as well is a good idea.. it suits the setting too, and would make for a nice change from allways the same style cantinas/

A med center would be harder to account for, no reason there shouldn't be a med center near Jabba's though

Then all them bountyhunters have a very moody setting in which to ply their trade and I know I'd be happy to dance there for a couple of days

Mmhmm.

Course, I'm still pretty sure he doesn't invite pacifist entertainers. I think he buys therm.

Well that's the easy part really. Getting in isn't so tough, if you don't consider having to solo it the only means inside.

As I mentioned earlier, when I "did" Jabba's themepark, I was in no condition to solo it. I was escorted by a TKM / Master Swordsman, and if any of the "killy" missions were too much for me to handle (like when the Tuskens kept descending everywhere all the time... grrrr), they were taken care of. Naturally, all the "talky" missions were a matter of going through the motions.

As entertainers, a lot of us know combat players who might be willing to do the killing for us. Once I did acquire the combat skills, I escorted other entertainers in LIVE Entertainment as well.

Really, if getting in the door is the only setback, that one's prettyeasily sidestepped. Interdependency in action. Getyerself some hired guns, pardner.

I've been trying to getJabba to trade Oola for Til for a while now..but well..Til's gotten a reputation for being a bit difficult lately so I guess I'm stuck with him.

I love going to Jabba's and usually manage to hang there at least one evening a month. I would LOVE to have a way for allour friends to go with us. We have considered how long it would take us to escort everyone on the missions and I think the devs are probably more likely to put in a backdoor first.

I'd like to see a few new NPCs scattered around the palace to give non-combat players missions that would eventually gain them admittance to the throne room. Not necessarily delivery, escort or "do this dance/flourish" stuff but maybe riddles or logic puzzles.

I'm trying to do the Jabba theme park nonviolently, hehe. I'm stuck on the 5th mission right now. I did the first four without killing anyone, so it is at least possible to get this far. I'll keep everyone posted on my progress.

I've done all the missions with my other character on Tempest. The enemy encampment has to be destroyed, but you don't have to kill any of the enemy. The encampment is empty as far as I recall. Anyway, the only criterion is that I don't have to kill anyone. Other people and animals usually will do the work for me, unbidden, and that's fine by me.
