I can verify that droid repair modules do NOT work on pre-patch droids. Any droid equipped with a repair module no longer heals the wounds of another droid, but commanding the droid to heal does drain your own HAM. New droids with repair modules do work.
Also, the ranged / melee toggle does not work while the droid is engaged in combat. The droid will continuefighting with a single style until the battle is over, and I can't make it switch over by simply switching a target. This is very annoying to me. Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but I understand the toggle, and the system message does say that the ranged mode is off / on, even though the droid doesn't switch.
What damage type does the droid do in either mode?
Sinjen, I was able to get my R3 droid to switch attack types. Unfortunately, it caused a huge delay (several seconds) before it started attacking again after I told it to switch.
- 0.0 secs
- 0.5 secs
- 2.5 secs
- 4.5 secs
- 6.5 secs
- 7.0 secs
- repeat...
Basically, it did two quick shots and then had about a 2 sec delay for the next couple shots, then another burst of two in rapid succession. What I am trying to get at is that the attack delay speed is off and doesn't seem near the 1.0 sec cap and definitely not close to the 0.75 max. I know it could be latency with connection speed or server lag or client lag, but that doesn't really explain how consistent it is with the two rapid blasts and then the 2 sec delay blasts.

My pre-patch protocol droid has a repair module, and that DOES work.
Any word if pre-patch droids that are still deeds work after taming them after the patch?

My LE Repair droid has a Repair module, and it does NOT work.
- Customer requested a droid to be built. I whipped out my first crafting R3 old all-in-one-wonder droid to access the storage compartment (has w/d/g crafting module in it)
- Stored the R3 and pulled out an LE repair droid to access second storage compartment (has w/d/g crafting module in it)
- Started crafting components and sockets
- People started standing there staring at me in front of the Theed starport while I was crafting, presumably to check out the new droids. They didnt say anything, just stared. Got all creeped out about it, so I stored my LE repair droid and continued crafting
- Realized about5 minutes later that I had crafted about several components without using a crafting enabled droid
- Checked and confirmed that there was no public crafting station nearby, that I could see the entire build list, and that I could experiment on the components
- Checked to make sure that all my droids were stored...yup, all in datapad
- Noticed that there was an R4 with **Low Power** about 10 meters away from me
Conclusions? Either we no longer need a crafting station/module or that R unit had a crafting module in it and it worked with **Low Power** as well as it belonging to another player. I guess another possibility was that I somehow lagged and still had the flag of being near a crafting station/module on. I don't know how to explain it. I ended up crafting for another 20 min after that with none of my crafting droids out.

Has it even been confirmed that Armor Rating : NONE is a bug or really a Nerf?

hmm, I'm guessing it was the R4, I've never had a problem with using other peoples droids or low poer droids for crafting (and I know I've had situations where its been both and worked)...
I'm guessing the R unit had crafting and, despite the Low Power message, was still allowing you to use the crafting station.

You'd have had to be fairly close to it for this to work though...
Please try to retest/verify this and forum PM me if you can (with some details)

Respectfully,
Clarification: It still is affecting me.
Wish I could edit already!

- Droid armor rating displayed reverts to original 40% when droid is re-called for the second time (and beyond).
So noted and added to thedroid issues thread (personally observed).
- Color-customization step no longer available on droid chassis build.
Not added to droid issues as I've seen your post regarding this being by design due to the 'display model' changes coming in Pub 8.
- 'Old' (pre-P7) Probots and other droids are listed as CL13. If the above fixes this, please let me know.
So noted and added to thedroid issues thread (personally observed).
- I made a 100-unit schematic of "Unit Delivery Charges". The factory stopped (and said it was done) at 50.
I had the 'recipe' correct...it just made 50% of what the schematic called for...
Not added to droid issues as it is more of a general crafting problem than being specific to droids. While it does affect us as crafters, I beleive it was later said that the bug is only visual. I don't see a close enough tie to droids to warrant adding it to the droid issues. If there's enough demand for me to add it, then sure, I'll fix that up.
- R-Series melee attack mode didn't look right at all (visually they were about 40m apart). (2nd Report: Astromech droid attacking in melee with buzzsaw is too obscene. With the buzzsaw waving around and the jumping motion of the droid, it is like the R unit is humping the target's leg.)
So noted and added to thedroid issues thread.
- Make a combat socket cluster using a crate of 3 combat modules. Use all three modules, effectively using up the crate in the process. It will make the cluster successfully, but it will spam the message "You may not destroy a factory crate that is being used during a crafting session." four times.
So noted and added to thedroid issues thread (personally observed).
- I remembered reading that non-ch's would be able to have a droid and their pet out. I can only have one or the other out.
So noted and added to thedroid issues thread (personally observed).
- Deeds for combat droids listed damage range, to hit, and attack speed. That way people know what they're buying, and so we can label the deeds better.
Already in thedroid issues thread as modules and related properties is something we've alreadybeen asking for. This isn't quite new.
- Can we PLEASE get the stim components listed seperately from actual droid components in our datapad? It's a big jumbled mess with all of them in there, alphabetical order or not.
So noted and added to thedroid issues thread (personally observed).
- Droids resistant to bleedíng has some bugs... another DE on my server battled his new droid against a person with DoT Bleed on his weapon(the ones you loot) and the droid did start to bleed from that... but I dunno about bleed specials yet. (note: trying to get more info on this...)
So noted and added to thedroid issues thread. This one I've heard about before. Not just with droids, but with lairs and other bleed-proof targets. This is also pre-7, but now affects us due to droids being bleed resistant.
Thanks, G. You're my hero...really, really.
