And gives us REAL Combat droids.. the will need patching up with packs, so there´s
decay.Batteries is just another inventory slot in by backpack. Asreloading the droid
takes no effort and batteries readily available, its useless asa decay/control-function.
I never saw C-3PObeing reload with batteries...

Your right I Never saw 3Po being reloaded however he alwas seemed to be in Industrized area's where he could "go get recharged", I never saw Han Goto the bathroom but I bet he did, second, while 3PO ONSCREEN never rechaged R2 did twice once in Empire on Dagobah and Once in Jedi, in fact I think in New Hope I saw luke unpluging R2. and let me ask you a question does it take much effort to change the batteries in your Remote or Fuel youe car no it doesn't and Fuel Stations are alwas ready avaiable

Longer answer ... droid batteries are good, they should last longer & Power droids should not take batteries.

no
no
no
explanation:
you simply forgot the easiest sollution, make them last way longer. period. the usage rate atm is definately way to high and if they would last 10 times that much all would be fine as it is. my opinion
PS: color decay sucks also alot, but i guess u know it already

As of the latest post (Kaldeth), I have the numbers as....

Yes: 8
No: 77
Indifferent / Maybe / Need more info: 1
Question 2: "Should Droid Batteries remain (as they are now) and we get some new power source/method?"
Yes: 37
No: 42
Indifferent / Maybe / Need more info: 7
Question 1: "Would it be better if we kept Droid Batteries in the game (as they are now) and used them as part of a droid decay-type system?"
Yes: 53
No: 21
Indifferent / Maybe / Need more info: 12

the realTK421:
could u maybe open your mind for the most simple solution?
just upping the duration a batterie holds by 10 or 20 times or so?
actually the only real probelm with batteries i see is definately the life span, nothing else. same for colorisation (which si way more rediculous then batteries).

Sometimes, what appears to be the most simple....isn't.
just upping the duration a batterie holds by 10 or 20 times or so?
...we'd kill a market by a lot of Artisans make money with...
It would also mean that we'd have no reason to ever have/make a Power droid. That's two strikes against the idea of making the "Last Forever"(tm) battery.

You don't think 50 calls is enough? Hmmm....
Do you make/sell Paint kits for the droids you sell? If not, you should. I make a good bit of 'add-on' sales with these and it also gives my clients a good reason to return to my vendor and see what's new.
For now, I'd prefer to get Paint kits working on all droids, all the time. We can talk customization lifespan down the line, methinks.
Don't forget that part of the reason for this poll is to see if it would be worthwhile to try to connect battery use with a newer, better decay system.

Don't wanna intrude, but,
For dorid custom kit, one of the problem is : when oyu create a droid, color lifespan is 20.
People see that.
People tried custom kit on their vehicle before.
People don't bother buying custom kit unless you give them the calculation, saying that with 1 custom kit, an entertainer can go up to a year (1 call a day that is).
