Do you make/sell Paint kits for the droids you sell? If not, you should. I make a good bit of 'add-on' sales with these and it also gives my clients a good reason to return to my vendor and see what's new.
For now, I'd prefer to get Paint kits working on all droids, all the time. We can talk customization lifespan down the line, methinks.
Don't forget that part of the reason for this poll is to see if it would be worthwhile to try to connect battery use with a newer, better decay system.

sorry but your answeres really shock me alot.
everylasting batteries? huh? 10 ot 20 times longer is NOT everlasting. 1 hr usage atm is simply silly. period
this poll wont exist if here would not be a huge problem and complains about that batterie usages
destroying artisan market? hmm i dont think so, since they still would use up, just slower at a reasonable rate
powerd roid usage? are you a real droid engineer? who the heck uses a power droid at all, plus the fact it uses itself a batterie lol
other point i agree kinda, customisation maybe not belonging to this thread, but no 50 calls is rediculous and not enough. do you know how often a doc calls a droid every day?
i play DE since beta Mr correspondant, and sure i got kits on my shop, but NOBODY buys them at all and i dont see many older droids with colors on my server same as vehicles, cause the SPAN is way to low.
sorry if i sound harsh but i am old enough and play enough to know the different between silly ffast decay and reasonable stuff which helps all and could maybe accepted.

Veers, what your missing is the reason that this poll was started to begin with. It wasn't so much "anti-battery," as looking for a way for Droid Decay. One way we discussed adding Droid Decay was adding like a 100,000 charge inner battery, when it was gone, the droid was dead.
Now of course people would gripe about this, yet the upside to it was that people wouldn't need Droid Batteries anymore.
Now your suggesting Batteries actually last longer, which would actually cause DE's to lose more money, which is contrary to the origional point of this post, and still doesn't fix Droid Decay.
Yea...apparently, he wasn't hip on where this was all headed and what the poll was really getting at, methinks.

'everlasting batteries' was simply a turn of the phrase man, don't get bent out of shape. Sheesh.
Uhhh...remember when it was like 10 min.? We already got a roughly 6x increase in battery life. I'll ask about this again but I wouldn't hold out a huge amount of hope that they will take it higher for us.
If you think droid batteries would possibly be upped by another 10-20x (10-20 hours each), you're likely kidding yourself (but I'll still ask anyway). /shrug

I didn't say "destroying". Don't play this like I was stating that the Artisan's 'sky' was falling. Come on...I've been an MDE long enough to know that Artistans and MAs are hardly getting rich of droid batteries. Duh!

No..I've never been a Droid Engineer. Is it fun?
Note: I think think that under a newly proposed droid Decay / disabling system, we might well see Power Droid sales go up on the other side, especially if they are setup to:
- bypass the vitality loss system
- changed to NOT ever need a battery (they lose vitality based on the 'ticks' that they give to other droids, in terms of power, etc.)

Depending on how long he plays...probably less than I do.
Look...50 calls is a HUGE amount of time. You get an MDE to sell you some crated paint kits and it's basically a total non-issue. Don't you want to sell a crate of paint kits to someone? I sold like 12 today....

Not sure what to tell you man. Maybe it's the people on your server or....I dunno. I sell quite a few paints kits and/or give them out with droids I sell. Now that everyone can paint their own droid, I get a lot of sales from folks that like to have their favorite droid color stay in place. We DO get paint life that lasts longer...there's just a sale of a good that needs to accompany that.

The issues above have less to do about decay than they do stuff we can sell vs. users that don't care about the feature.
Some people won't buy droid paint kits no matter how long they last. Would it be nice if droid color lasted forever? Sure...maybe. But as it is now...I make money off the fact that it isn't.
