I think that may be a good idea... if nothing else we should get a DE summit together. If someone else could organize it though... I've got my hands pretty full right now.

Now, I'm willing to let certain things play out....like the HAM differentiation between combatant/non-combatant hybrids....the "combat level penalty" while grouping ...until I can make the difference more apparent compared to elite professions.
However, giving static player usable objects which can be given out by NPC's freely is a BAD idea. Ever see Novice Shipwright equipment for sale? -nope, 'cause anyone can get equal to better equipment from the trainer.
Since we're all organized on TC5, might I suggest a pow-wow there sometime this week?

Why doesn't the quest give out one shot plans that the person then takes to a DE to make and a Doc to install? You could even have it use the new minning resources.

Im not a DE but i feel for you guys, DE's should make them and doctors should "install" them

Wow, they must be right on top of this to delete my post that quickly. Who would have thunk they were watching the DE forum like that.
I guess they can't handle the truth - that we realize crafting and all support professions are being quietly shown the door, one by one.

I've had a thread disappear that was entitled "Revamp Unacceptable; AS Perspective" that was a (relatively) well thought out complaint based upon knowledge already disseminated to the public that focused on the extreme interdependencyfound inthe armorsmith profession and why the profession had become only equitablefor multi-account users. Another thread originated by someone else, where I stated my lack of confidence in the developers was also removed. In other words, don't criticize the developers if you want your posts to not be deleted.
Yes, I agree that the DE and Doctor are getting hosed on this.

let me tell you , Garva must be my long lost cousin cause' I went above and beyond yesterday in the Flurry forum. No locks, no deletes, no ban. Maybe the trick is to rant and rave instead off making intelligent well thought out posts?

Howdy all
Just popped over to the DE forums to say that the new announcement sucks for you all...As a MSW we get new ships and stuff to make but by not allowing DE's to make limbs is totally wrong....Hope you all can at least talk them into allowing you to make some stuff....Good Luck

I hate to be negative but i see nothign positive about this decision for DE's. I realize there are more profs in SWg then us; however most of them preform a service that is necessary by the larger SWG player base. This lack of forsight once again shows that the devs really do consider crafting to be a sideline thing. Not something to do as a primary viable set of professions. Also mixed with the CU changes, which will ultimately hurt newer crafters the most dont expect it to get better.
Dang i hate naysaying, why cant these guys give us a break?

Because the Devs have decided the player economy is a bad thing and they are reducing as much need for it as possible.
While, at the same time they are forcing combat players to form large groups to kill bunnies.
The future is not cloudy, I'm afraid; it's quite obvious that we are being..."upgraded" to irrelevance.

Ditto's here... Not flaming or trying to add the the flames.... Is any concrete info out other then the cybernetics is not being crafted by us?
Question here... If we have a DE meeting on a server, does that constitue an unauthorized gathering and will get us banned? A lot of people are getting banned for bashing the CU and RotW info... Just asking.

LOL, If we got every DE left on every server and put them all in the same room we wouldn't effect lag and FPS one bit.

As long as we aren't gathering in protest we're all good, and since DE's used to have regular summits anyway I hardly think it qualifies as a protest.
