Unless they're being sneaky, the devs can't change the course of this action and get this expansion out on time. It sounds like they want to make it a reward for a DWB kind of dungeon, which of course means that people will be running around with two cybernetic arms, one blue, one purple.


I definately agree that it should be implemented as a player craftable item with minimal bonuses and if they want uber implants, put those down in a dungeon with 30 enraged wookiee chieftans or what ever.

Jenden, I know you are putting a good face on it about it no being over yet.... but c'mon. Do you really think that with ROTW launching in a month, they will change it? They wont.


They keep making the same msitakes over and over again, adding new stuff, but adding it in a fashion that doesn't help people it should have.


Keep being nice? We have tried that, it's not working. We griped about JTL, heck I ranted some, probably the main ranter, yet we stayed sane. Then AGAIN they do it. They add Cybernetics and leave us out of it.


I will not sit by quietly while crafters and non-combatents are puched out of the game. It's not you man, and you know on the CU boards I fight the same fight. It's not even just cybernetics, its the ENTIRE trend of pushing non-coms aside. Fixing combat is stupid if you push 95% of the crafters out.


Want Cybernetics to be a reward for a certain dungy? Here in 5 seconds I devise such a system. Do the dungy, get a badge. DE's make the cybernetics, and only people with the badge can equip them. Done.

Gutted


I thought for short space of time maybe we are getting a "Combat" droid fix of some kind instead of the Cybernetics? Then I thought not. When I say it was a short thought, it was about 0.0000001 of a second. About the same about of time some dev thought about giving us some loving.


Don't know if I can say much else. I will however get on the TC-5 and drop you aline Jenden.

I mean, I really was so optimistic about the future of SWG for a good long time.

Now, not so much.

Not unless you want to play a 100% combat killing machine, out there killing animals in that oh-so-star-warsy way.

You saw those scenes, right? Where people sat there shooting at rancors and banthas all day and became Jedi. Right??
