Audio, or anybodyelse that may know this answer...

I've never run complete droids in a factory, I've always hand crafted the final droids, from factory parts. But anyway, how many finished droids are in a crate?

I also have done my market research, and yes, I expect I will sell some.

The key point however is that NOBODY shows any interest until I point out that they will be able to have the creature pets out in addition...and that is the only saving grace about this.

Hardly a 'Droid Invasion' is it when people only want them for that reason.

Still, there is always the bright side.. *continues frantically looking*

Droids come out in crates of five. BH droids come out five to a crate, as do R2 and R3 chassis, I know that much. I'll run five R2s in my factory later on and know for sure if it's only BH droids that come out in fives.

my carrion spat mount is still better and doesnt need batteries....

there is still no reason for most people to buy these.

the hams need to be much higher

The spat however doesnt need batteries.

You would still need to use stims to heal both in combat ...but the spat wont go power dead and not listen to your commands

if a pinch you can also ride the mount.

Given the choice between spending 20-30K and 3-7K and getting basically the same results, i would choose the the spat.

The point i am trying to make is that PROBOTS should be better than level 10 creatures all the way around....the only reason any one should want a creature, at any level is for a mount or pack animal. Creatures should enter a near oblivian zone. their uses should be for food and hide...not for combat.

Creature handlers should be redone to be ranchers and dairy farmers and not a combat profession at all.

But the probot will take a little over 5 times the damage the spat will before you need to heal it. If they fix armor (currently borked on TC) then probots will be quite a bit better than CL10 creatures (the only reason anyone would ever use a creature now other than ignorance is the fact that the droid can't be healed, but that is changing). Even with armor in its current state on TC (just 40% resists, no AR) the probot will still take about twice the damage a creature of the same HAM will.

I do agree with you that you should barely ever see creatures in the game.

And it will Still be Almost worthless. My lessor/minor sludge panther (standard post nerf CL 10 pet) is Worthless now, I have to Stim it constantly to stay up against low lvl mobs like DesertDemons and Swoopers. The same will be true for a Probot, the 120 damage is laughable without armor. Sure now you can heal it....great you'll spend every round or every Other round of combat healing your droid so it can hit for 120ish...I could do the same without armor on and hit for 300-900 nekkid. If armor isn't fixed the probots will be MORE useless than before.

i just checked my bird....its HAM is 1130.

so a 990HAM robot is still weaker than some stupid giant chicken....

the minimum HAM for a probot needs to be around 1200...

i just dont understanda world where aniamls are stonger than machines and technology....

i mean right now a bear could easily maul me....but one shot gun shot to the head and the bear is toast

the devs just seem stuck in some medieval world where they think we are fighting wild bores with sharpened sticks...

And is 'looser' supposed to be an insult? As opposed to 'tighter'?

Now Jenden has his way of playing, and thats cool

However, he makes no secret of the fact that he is not MA and so does not have the skillpoints invested in DE that most of us do..and thats cool too.

He is not, however, the 'typical' DE and that you should all remember.

I am not critisising him, nor do I want to say his is the wrong road,

But, in listening to his point of view, you have to take into account his unusual position.
