Thread: Probot 990 HAM, 100 120 Damage, 1.5 Attack Speed, and 0.35 To Hit
I think 'J' is a CH spy. So dedicated to nerfing DEs, that he has learned our craft. Or, somthing.
In any case I take his veiws of what DEs want or the way things should be, with grain alcohol, if possible.

Hi.
I am a new DE by 3 days I just am now starting Intermediate Droid Blueprints...Whew, I see it's going to take some time to Master this profession. I have only been playing this game for 3 weeks + now.
So I was wondering where is this website you are taking about with the spreadsheets?
And if you have any suggestions I would love them,
Thanks

Alexx here you are: http://jenden.endofinternet.net/schematics/schematics.htm
I think you should study the sticky threads at the top of this forum..they will be of great help to you.

I just checked on the DE forum to get the full results on the new probot. It looks like they have actually increased the DPS while adding additional HAM when they removed the light armor and lowered the resists. The stats are now as follows:
Adv Probot (03/09/04) 1100 HAM/ 149 - 159 Damage/ 0.75 Speed/ 0.38 To Hit
This places the effective HAM as 1375 and the DPS at 200! The accuracy is also far higher than your average wild CL15-20 mob. Running the tests again the results are as follows:
So all in all folks you still have a decently powerful pet there, even better now that it can be repaired. The fights are going to be quick as hell though because of the raw firepower it has while being quite frail.
A Male Swamp Tusk Cat (CL17)
Actual health is 3900, effective vs energy is 4095. Max DPS is 90.
Tusk cattakes15 seconds to kill Probot.
Probot takes20 seconds to kill Tusk cat.
Result: Probot might just loseis around CL15-16, slightly more powerful than it is at the moment but still within reason.

The new probe has 990 ham or so hits a bit harder and has up to 20% resists. I am not sure how well 16% more resists stacks up agains 3k more ham.
I will test both once it goes live but I expect the non ch pet will be more useful due mainly to having more ham. Since both are going to get beat like dogs more hp gives you greater leeway in stimming.

Yes i did try this only last week with a brand new probot and a pet of this tusk cat species. The result was that as follows:
http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=46558&poll_id=0&warned=y
If you run the math as I do here you'll see that the result was pretty much as the actual test went, the tusk cat won but only after taking heavy damage plus it actually ran away from the fight at this point. As for testing this on the TC no i haven't cause there is barely any active droid engineers on there and certainly none with droid vendors with these probots on them.
Once again I suggest you go back to your "math." The Tusk cat won, and the newer (TC) Probots are not as tough as the old ones due to armor rating reduction.
Pets running away? Well of course it did! You just asked it to sacrifice its life for you!
I guess my point is that you still don't know what you're talking about. Take a step back and think again.
I really wish you guys would stop being so short sighted. Armor isn't the be all and end all of how tough soemthing is. Neither is HAM. The end result is that when the opponent is dead before you are then you are tougher than than they are. This is exactly why a player is able to defeat amob with 12k of HAM in a solo fight despite the fact that we have less HAM and armor than them, the fact is that a player is tough because they havea high DPS as well. Yes the armor is gone, so what. The balance has been struck with them being able to hit so much harder so that they end the fight before they are destroyed. When you realise that?
