I think a DZ-70 would be great for this....but i would guess it would cap at 20?
Yes, it will cap at 20. I haven't tried it Handsnake, I'll check it out a bit later.
Answer to the question of ratings showing up on deeds, yes they do.

Do the detonation modules stack in general clusters or combat clusters?
Yes to both
Any bonus either way if both?
Not that I've seen (I know there isn't for combat cluster, haven't tried general clusters)
Has anyone hit a detonation numner cap ie max Droid Detonation 50 no matter how many modules are in?
The cap is 10 * the number of modules you put in (plus 20 * the number of modules for MSE and adv. MSE).
What is the max range you can access the radial menu to issue the detonation command?
not sure about actually accessing the radial menu, but you can make it detonate with /detonatedroid at 150m (limit on targeting range)
Can that command be macro'ed?
Yep, though you have to have the droid targeted
Is it a certainty that 'taming' a droid will pull it out in combat (in my experiance it does but thats very limited experiance as a de) so to then train the detonation command and then detonate?
All the times i've tried it works, and there's no need to train it. Just pull it out, use the built in "chase" (follow target) command, and use the /detonatedroid command
Can that series of commands be macro'ed? (5 deeds in toolbar slots. will /ui action toolbarSlotxx tame/call droid?)
haven't played around with this, but it should work. Only thing you'd have to watch out for is you might detonate it to soon if you've got it in a macro
Are the variables (range/power/timer) effected by Smuggler/Bounty Hunter skill tree?
Nope
Has anyone tested with a Bounty Hunter to see if anything changes? (looks like all test so far done are with a Smuggler)
Don't think so, but I highly doubt its any different
Is anyone tired of my questions yet?
Takes more than this to make me tired.
Can you issue an 'abort' command? (3 secs isn't long but still something can happen that might make you not want to attack, in the same way you can clear your combat que)
No
Will storing a droid stop detonation?
Not sure, haven't tried it. Either way you can also incap the droid to abort detonation.
Can you freely store in comabt?
Nope, same rules as all other droids apply
You sir are a star ![]()
Wondering if this might work as a macro then with a mse droid in the first slot of your action bar:
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/pause 1;
/target MSE;
/pause 1;
/detonatedroid;
With the idea being that you get into combat and just hit this macro. Maybe even throw in more /ui for x number of droids with a /pause 4; to allow you to set off a quick chain of droids. BOOM.... BOOM.... BOOM hehe your dead
Again just need to know if 'using' a deed will call the droid, anyone?

Might have missed this before, but do you have to be a Smuggler/BH to call the droid or just use the command?
So could there be a situation where each member of a group had one of these droids called with each droid befriended to a summgler or BH, would the smuggler/BH then be able to command all these droids at once and detonate each one in quick sucession?
Also can the /detonatedroid command take a droid name as a variable to avoid having to target the droid? Like /detonatedroid
Off the top of my head, I don't think so. Using items in your toolbar simply performs whatever action is listed as 1) in the item's radial menu... and as I recall "Call Droid" is 3) or 4). I think that "Examine" is 1) for Droids but I'm really not sure.

Respectfully,
If anything these will be fun to play with, if not a rich-man's toy. As someone posted earlier, the thought of a boobie-trapped barker model luring its victims closer with promises of cheap holos' is classic! Not to mention the "kamakazie" toasters that will be under foot.
A fully loaded r-3 would be the bomb!!! (sorry had to) It looks like it should deal about one point of damage per resource used
. The fun dosn't have to stop there, why we could use "party favor" droids for entertainers. If you don't like the show, Ka-Boom!!! curtain call.
Ooooh-Ooooh my favorite! The "Kevorkian" medical droid, It sends you to to the hospital instead. A twist on that would be a stim droid that delivers death to the masses, you know kinda like a trojan horse but chrome plated. Man the possibilities....*sigh*...
Anyway:
Would using a storage model with detonation modules inside have any affect on the damage dealt? I doubt it, but just a thought.
I rather feel sorry for the guy who orders an item storage module inside a droid designed to destroy itself... of course they are gone.

I'm going to assume that all data/items kept in a detonated droid are lost upon death. Silly questions, but I had to ask. Thanks TC DEs, your a great assest to us all!!
