Thread: Publish 7 (Droid Invasion): Please report any/all bugs or 'strangeness' here ONLY!! (03/16/04)
I refuse to believe that 20% is the norm. If it is, then THAT is a bug. We should be fighting tooth and nail for 40% to be the norm, as is displayed on the droid when examined. Please pass my opinion on as Correspondent, TK. The discrepancy between a BE CL10 pet and a DE CL10 is huge. We haven't gotten confirmation that 20% is their target, so we should stick it to them that our target (the communities) is 40%. Don't mean to be confrontational, but this is a fight we can win and should not back down from.

be a bug doesn't it?
What you're reporting here is a display bug, I'm 99.9% sure of it.
The first 'call' (the "Ready Droid Unit") is showing the correct numbers that should stay there from call to call.
Right now, people are seeing 40% resists on some droids. Just understand...it very likely is really working at 20% and this is a display/UI thing.

Respectfully,
If you're right that'd be great, because my combat R3 is performing pretty darn well especially if it's really operating at 20% resists.

I can't even get my R3 to attack...The program screen appears and i choose "Use Ranged attack," then command it with the letter F. It displays the ! but nothing happens. I did this many times andstill i get no response. What should I do?

You have to put 'utility'/service module into Combat-Capable Socket Clusters for them to be able to work with R-Series droids.

is it possible to put utility modules in the R droids anymore? or the LE repair droid? i'm only getting the option to put combat modules in those slots now
The functions/features do still seem to work correctly (from what I've tested on TC).

Nope. Not a bug. 20% is the new "maximum" armor that can be applied.

The bug here is that the wrong numbers are being displayed.

I will be bringing this up. I want to post the issues that I can now and see about getting them hotfixed ASAP. That comes first.

Well...for now, it's gonna be 20%, man. I know that's good for us...but it is what it is for now. Give it time...I'll stay on this.
Respectfully,
Note: Items in yellow were reported more than once...

Respectfully,
- Droid armor rating displayed reverts to original 40% when droid is re-called for the second time (and beyond).
- Color-customization step no longer available on droid chassis build.
- 'Old' (pre-P7) Probots and other droids are listed as CL13. If the above fixes this, please let me know.
- I made a 100-unit schematic of "Unit Delivery Charges". The factory stopped (and said it was done) at 50.
I had the 'recipe' correct...it just made 50% of what the schematic called for... - R-Series melee attack mode didn't look right at all (visually they were about 40m apart). (2nd Report: Astromech droid attacking in melee with buzzsaw is too obscene. With the buzzsaw waving around and the jumping motion of the droid, it is like the R unit is humping the target's leg.)
- Make a combat socket cluster using a crate of 3 combat modules. Use all three modules, effectively using up the crate in the process. It will make the cluster successfully, but it will spam the message "You may not destroy a factory crate that is being used during a crafting session." four times.
- I remembered reading that non-ch's would be able to have a droid and their pet out. I can only have one or the other out.
- Deeds for combat droids listed damage range, to hit, and attack speed. That way people know what they're buying, and so we can label the deeds better.
- Can we PLEASE get the stim components listed seperately from actual droid components in our datapad? It's a big jumbled mess with all of them in there, alphabetical order or not.
- Droids resistant to bleedíng has some bugs... another DE on my server battled his new droid against a person with DoT Bleed on his weapon(the ones you loot) and the droid did start to bleed from that... but I dunno about bleed specials yet. (note: trying to get more info on this...)
I have experienced the bug described below as well...

I can't use general droid module socket clusters in some of my droids. They now want only the combat-capable socket clusters. I know that I can put regular modules in the combat-capable socket clusters, but I want to be able to use my previous factory crates of general droid module socket clusters. Even if not in the probots, then at least in the astromechs...please???
I have a similar problem. I've been working on a order for R3 units for a city mayorwho order 17 of them. I finished making the socket clusters last night, and was planning to put them into the droids today. Now I have17 general clusterswith Level 6 item and medical modules in themthat are completely useless. and I don't have the resources I need to make new ones as "combat clusters".
this is hopeless. not only can I not fill my orders for chassis'. But to top it off, the huge amount of work and resource harvesting I put into preparing these clusters for the order of utility droidshas also been flushed down the toilet(getting the neutronium steel I needed for the level 6 item storage modules was hard. that stuff hasn't spawned on Kauri in ages).
why do I play this game?
