3 accounts...all crafters...all staying.
Probably will drop the crafting from one toon to get a combatant.

1 account staying
considering buying another account for the SO with the SWG:Total Experience bargain pack.
I would have been another considering until I logged in last night to live rather than TC-EP3, and I realized that I had no interest in getting buffed to go do any combat activities under thecurrent livesystem. I've been spoiled by the new combat system, and I play on TC-EP3 with my live template; Master Artisan, Master DE, Scout 4-0-0-0, and Rifles 4-2-0-2 (only a level 30 combat level). Plus I have high hopes that since major changes were made to all combat and doc professions, that the nextareas to get development time after CU/ROTW will be smuggler, crafting systems in general, and dancer/musician.

2 accounts. Both canceled today because of the "Station Exchange" announcement.
Would definitely stay otherwise, no matter what the CU brings.Message Edited by EiYoto on 04-21-2005 12:26 PM
If they ever do that they would probably only do it on new server just like they are doing with EQ2. I seriously doubt they would put the exchange in all servers.

I am staying for the space combat and the fact someones going to need droids somewhere. But thecancel button will look very tempting if something isnt done about the crafter nerf, It doesnt bother me much since im a novice carbineer and I can handle quite a bit of random mob's unarmored. I fear thatI will be a minority of the existing crafters in game and no new players will pick up the torches of the crafters that are leaving.
So i am staying till the day they nerf crafters (droids in praticular) out of this game.

Staying: I just got to 22/24 boxes in force sensitive. No way I'm cancelling just before I unlock

Considering Leaving: My MDE/MSW/Merchant. Might make my alt from the first account another SW..but not another DE.

Thanks for the calculations Straker. But that would be 43% of the people who visit the forums. Most of my friends in the game dont bother visiting the forums and much less posting. So I am guessing the percentage will go down somewhat. Just how much is anyones guess.
Actually, I would venture to guess that the numbers will go up when non-forums users are taken into account. These are people that have been quietly playing the SWG we know and love for months or years, and haven't followed any of the CU drama. Many of these people will log in on May 5 and say "WTF? What happened to my game?" and leave the game forever. I guarantee it won't be a small number.

Well I was going to write stay, but I thought I'd wait to write that until after we got our chance at taking a look at the CU conversion testing, to see what kind of effects it would have on me.
Looks like they couldnt get our server working so they're not going to try.
So I have two accounts, considering leaving. Sad to say it, but what else can I do. I dont appreciate being treated like refuse.
I had a ton of things lined up to test for us DEs, but I will have to leave that up to the rest of you.
Blame whoever you want.

It's impossible to predict how this will affect the non-forum goers, period. Feedback on the forums tends to be hyper-critical anyway, because most of the time, only the players with a beef come here to vent and look for answers to issues they're having.
So I'm not worried at all about the results of this poll. I'll bet the results would not have been that much different if this CU never happened...

If I recall correctly, forum users only make up about 15% of the overall SWG community.Forum userscan be considered the minority, in the game, but at the same time we are the vocal majority, at least from our point of view.
As for me....
1 Staying and I'm actually going to buy the RotW combo box set when it comes out, so I will be adding a second account soon (tm)

I don't want to dilute the poll thread by a big discussion
but... take a look at the people who are posting here. A lot of them may have been DE's for a long time, they may have swung by and read the forums on occassion, but we are seeing a lot of people that we don't "normally" see.
That indicates to me that perhaps this is a better sampling then it would first appear ofother then "forum people."
