Do you consider yourself successful in your business? Eh, I don't really run a "business", I only roleplay a mad scientist / inventor type who works on droids as a hobby. I do sell the occasional droid (and sometimes an arakyd or two on the bazaar), but I'm not in this for the $$$ (I get a lot of tips as a Doctor anyway). Am I insane or something? Wait, don't answer that.![]()
Are you happy you went with DE? Yep. I might not be rich or "successful", butdroids arefun (except for adv droid brains
)andbeing a DEfits my character well. (now if I only stopped getting tellslike "What do binary lifters do?!"... heh heh.)

Are you happy you went with DE? This is my only option in this game as it is all i wanted to do so happy or
not i got no choice , but I'm here patiently waiting for our profession to be implemented into the game . not
just thrown in as an afterthought.

Do you consider yourself successful in your business? No. It costs me roughly 15k per day just to maintain my shop, factory, and harvesters. I've been doing that for a little over 2 months now, so I've spent roughly 1 million credits just to keep playing the game. Add in the million credits that I currently have in the bank, and that's roughly 2 million credits earned in my career. Of that, 600,000 came in a single resource sale, 200,000 came from a Bounty Hunter who made a rather large order of Seekers and Araykds, another 100,000 came from selling misc droids, and the remainder - roughly 1,100,000 - has come from running missions (mostly Artisan Missions). Unless you define "success" as "able to earn 30% of what's necessary to keep the business running", then no I'm not successful.
Are you happy you went with DE? Oddly enough, yes. I didn't join the profession to make money, I joined it to make Droids because I thought it would be fun to do. I have other skills (Rifleman, some Scout) that allow me to treat Droid Engineer as just one aspect of my character - and those other skills are what allow me to (essentially) waste time and money building droids. I have a lot of fun with Droid Engineer, though, particularly when I can build a custom droid for someone who wants something a little different, so I'll probably never change. I need a better location, though... I'm currently NW of Keren on Naboo by about 1.5k which means that I don't really get any foot traffic.
I look forward to the day that the Droid Engineer profession is done with beta testing, though, so that we can actually do everything we're supposed to be able to do and be a fully functioning part of the SWG universe.

Do you consider yourself successful in your business? Very. Location, Advertisement, Attitude & Quality keeps my shop constantly busy & my droids flying off my vendor.
Are you happy you went with DE? Completely. I've hated any crafting profession in any game til this. Making droids is just plain cool. I wouldn't drop this profession for a holocron.

Are you happy you went with DE? Yes. Despite its problems, business is brisk. Plus its fun to make droids.

do you consider urself successful with ur bussiness: somewhat, i get by
are you happy you went de: at the current stage of the game where des are getting nothing but jacked up the azz with the biggest probe you can possibly find, no. i made that "most credits had" hunting with a bh/ch on dathomir before they nerfed the pay out while i was novice de. so you can basically say that i made more money hunting than being master de which is some sad shiz.
