Server - Shadowfire

DE Level - Master

How long have you held this level - Since 9/4

How long have you been working on DE - Since 8/1

Current Credits - 1.4 Million

Most Credits - 1.75 Million (I'll surpass this in about 2 days)

Do you consider yourself successful in your business? Yes, I would have to say so, since I've been able to set up a PA hall as my shop, buy 14 Heavy harvesters, and have a huge client base. I'm one of the more recognized Master DEs on Shadowfire, and have a reputation for great prices and top notch service (someone elses quote).

Are you happy you went with DE?Without a doubt I have to say yes. Biggest reason behind this, is that I love a good challenge. Trying to be in a profession that has so many 'quirks' is the most fun that I have had in a while. Sure there are problems and challenges to over come, but that is what makes this a much more interesting class to play. I'd hate to play a class where everything is 'handed to you on a platter'.

Wow, no one from Naritus, I guess I need to represent (poorly)

Server: Naritus

DE Level: Novice (0/0/0/0)

How long you've held this level: A day

How long have you been working on DE: Two Days

Current Credits: 298,000

Most Credits Had: 312,000

Do you consider yourself successful in your business? Not Yet, but I will be, I WILL be!

Are you happy you went with DE? Yes. I started on WS, but it got old quick. Guns have no personality. Now droids, THEY have personality. Of course, it's not much now, but after a patch they'll have personality!

Interesting results. Definitely not rich... but I think we are seeing some trends here. Perhaps I'll compile our answers into a general overview and turn it in to our correspondent for review by the devs (if they'll listen). I'll do it in a couple days after more have posted.

Server: Starsider

DE Level: Master DE

How long you've held this level: Few weeks

How long have you been working on DE: 3 months

Current Credits: 130k (ish)

Most Credits Had: 250k (ish)

Do you consider yourself successful in your business? Very. I have sold every droid that I've deliberately crafted for selling. I continue to make a profit on every droid (although it never stays in my bank for very long). I've sold droids all over the galaxy, and have many droids in many houses.

Are you happy you went with DE? Very. I enjoy making every droid I make (even when I was grinding MSEs). To see someone else running around with a droid I built trailing behind them is the best feeling in the world. Also, very satisfieing when a customer says "ah, great! That will come in handy" .. even if they are just saying it to make me feel good

DE Level:Novice DE

How long you've held this level: Three days

How long have you been working on DE:1 month (counting Artisan)

Current Credits: 30k

Most Credits Had: 60k

Do you consider yourself successful in your business? No, but its undertandable because I'm 0-0-0-1 DE hehehe... I hope to be a successfull DE, anyway Bu not in terms of money, I dont really want to have millions credits. My aspirations are to have the credits needed to mantain my structures (home, harvesters and vendors) and have fun crafting droids for my custumers

Are you happy you went with DE? At this moment, yes. When I begin to have problems because the droids dont work or I havent the resources needed or I cant sell at all, I'll give you another opinion

Server: Chilistra

DE Level: Master DE

How long you've held this level: hmmm 3 weeks maybe

How long have you been working on DE: Got bored with my Bounty Hunter so using my friends account who doesn't play. Started him on DE path in mid September

Current Credits: Around 8 million

Most Credits Had: Around 8 million

Do you consider yourself successful in your business? Yes, I make most my money selling resources I don't need. I also sell a ton of BH droids and combat probots. I offer the cheapest prices and get a bit of buisness

Are you happy you went with DE? I like it better then any other crafting class. This game gets boring no matter what you pick

DE Level: 4/4/3/4 (Last one's a beeyotch)

How long you've held this level: Just got here today!

How long have you been working on DE: since release, Novice DE started in late July, so about 1.5 months

Current Credits:635,000

Most Credits Had: 635,000

Do you consider yourself successful in your business? Well, the vast majority of my money actually came from non-DE products which supported me whilest I made the climb/grind. I would say less than 20% of the aforementioned credits are from DE-related products, but that will probably change once I am Master and start heavily promoting my DE products.

Are you happy you went with DE? In general, yes. There are a lot of broken things--some of them excruciatingly retarded (such as astromech coloring or droid coloring in general), but as a whole, I believe the DE profession works. At least they removed the Perma-Death thing reasonably quickly! While my patience is not infinite, I do believe that as long as they don't pull another Perma-Death-level-nerf-class-thingy, the DE profession in general is geared (pardon the professional pun) for good things to happen. And I definitely want to be a Master DE when that happens!

Server: Gorath

DE Level: Master DE

How long you've held this level: 2nd week for me

How long have you been working on DE: Since launch day.

Current Credits: 1.6 Million

Most Credits Had: 1.8 million

Do you consider yourself successful in your business? Sort of. I sell everything I make with little problem and have good relationships with people that move my droids for me so I have time to craft.

Are you happy you went with DE? Compared to the other classes I would say yes. I am not impressed with the combat in this game so crafting seems fun to me. I will be happier if they fix things like experimentation so us DE's can compete with each other as to who is the best DE and who can make the best "place favorite droid here".
