Thread: I would like to apoligize to you all.
While the pain and jealousy is real the reason is short term highway robbery. Saw people posting that CH's were selling trained kaadu's for 425k. Outrageous. And our Correspondent got ripped for 50k cause the CH wasnt honest enough to tell him how old a mount had to be to rode.
I foresaw the rush on mounts so I bought off the Theed Bazaar for 500 a Kaadu two weeks ago, letit grow without even training him for combat, then had a guildmate train him for free when mounts were released. Im not tring to boast but the sky high first day prices were easy to predict. Also mount business will die down prices will drop and then the mount market will be killed by vehicles in a month.
Sintrosi's anger was not a sin but her mistake as she rightly apoligized for, was posting without first allowing herself to quell the darkside within.
Bah, don't dare apologise. No way you could have your position and not go off on a rant. The only real question is how did you last so long.
- There is no real explanation for what has been done to DE's.
- There is no real explanation for why this game has prefered Creature handlers over Droids.
- There is no excuse for what was done to the second hardest crafting profession and to a profession central the the storyline of this game.
I don't have the strength to be mad anymore. I don't have the strength to rant anymore. I read rant threads and I want to add my comments, but they are just the same as everyone elses.
THUNDERHEART, I know I don't post often and thus you don't know me and may not even read this. However, remember this. Droid Engineers are at the point where only results count. No more promises, no more simple fixes. Droid Engineers are some of the games most dedicated Starwars and Starwars Galaxies fans. People who know that Droids are as much a part of Starwars as blasters.
Results count now.. give us some results, or at least acknowledge your agreement that results count now. The rest is... just background noise. We could cut and paste an old Dev post for that.

LOL...I was a dual major ME/EE at Purdue about 10 years ago (yeah, I'm dating myself) and was looking to go into Robotics Engineering....unfortunately, the market for engineers was overflooded at the time....got very disheartened and gave up on it altogether...
....now I do film and video editing in LA
ANYWAY, that being said....I apologize for posting out of my forum (I am not a DE) but I definitely do sympathize with you guys...I have known a few good DEs that have left the game or given up the profession since the start (I've been on since a couple days after launch) and the single most wonderful thing I see about the DE profession is your community, as well as how you guys rally around your correspondent
That speaks very highly in and of itself for you and the job you have been doing, Sintrosi...
It is a wonderful thing to see a quality correspondent in action and even better to see alot of players who give their full support and trust to...
Not many professions have that....and because of it, you guys WILL come out ahead in the long run

One of mygood friends in RL who alsowasa DE onEclipse has since put thegame down (for a while). He was really intoit when it firstcame out, But the lack of support by the Devs took away what zeal he hadquick. When I was Beta testingon Briawewouldtalk over stats and gameideas and workonCharacters and from day one he wanted to be a DE. But now"HE"like SO many of my friends have left this game. I can more then understand why someone would want to play a DE but can't for the life of me understand why there is no mention of what plans are instore or even have a Dev state "yes we know how messed up the droids" Or even a $crew you Hippie. nothing.Now the whole class needs a rework, Not even one light at the end of the tunnel. But on I play with one under balanced class and one over Powered one.
I have made a number of friends ingame and they are the die hards ofit all. Iwould liek to makeyou an offer I use to sell my friendsdroids for him and was doing well. I offer you the same. Sell me your droids and I will inturn sell them to the public.We were doing well together and I know he amassed a sizeable amount of money from me. I will alsoGive you the Mount of your choice.. and will slice any weapons you have for nothing..

It was only a matter of time before the Tsunami of DE discontent manifested itself as a much more serious, much more ugly event. I would say that your outburst was both controlled, reasonably tactful (under the circumstances) and probably did an excellent job of acting as a pressure valve for most of us who are genuinely frustrated with the state of affairs of our beloved profession. I am glad that TH responded to you directly at least. I am sorry he didn't have anything useful or meaningful to say other than what he's told us for the past several weeks/couple of months, but the fact that he responded at all means he is watching and that has to be a good sign. I just hope beyond hope that it actually means something soon.
This is pretty much a no-fault situation, so there really is no need for an apology. Even us Droid Engineers are human--much as we hate to admit it.

Wow Sin, No reason to aapoligize for a real statement, I only wish you played on Kauri cause if the mount cost me all i had you would have it. Fortunately i have tons of cash from my other char stim bus, and friends who are master ch who got my char there mounts.
Frankly if there are any DE who play on her server rally together to get her a mount. Come on DE support the person who supports us dailey.

Sin, I understand why you did it, and also why you felt the need to appologize. I also understand why your leaving would have nothing to do with our support; there's only so much one person can do in a situation, and you must make your own decisions. At the end of the day, we'll respect those decisions no matter what they may be.
But I'd like to emphasize that you really have done all that could be done thus far. The power for change isn't in our hands, and whether it was you or someone else in that position, I don't think anyone could go farther than you have. You've mostly reached the roof as far as our change potential is, and now it's in TH's hands.
Sintrosi.. LoL I would leave just because of the fact that all that you have said really has done nothing for this profession.. All of the time you have take to Master your Profession; read and write ideas down in the fourums EVERYTHING related to what you do has been a waste of time.. You were merely a puupet SIN and that is the truth.. You were a means to stall, delay and keep the peace(not knowingly of course). That was your true Job; the DEVS know what they want and have a roadmap which they will follow (DE is not a priority) They are happy enough that we make good Star Warsy looking back dropings!!

It all depends on my up front work load. So you will all be stuck with me for at least a few more months and then we will see from there.

An playing time will be scarce. Good luck and don't overload your scheadual.
