Just dumped MDE 4 days ago to go for CH. I was a DE for 6 months or so and just could not listen to another SOE lie 'bout how we were gettin' some love in 2 weeks. CH is fun, lots of fun. They are never going to give DE's what they want guys. NEVER. I really wish they would but it's not going to happen. Thereare so many petsto choose from with CH you can't imagine. I'm actually having fun playing again. If yer sick of making mobile backpacks and want cool petstry CH out. Gluck DE's.

I still see far more creature handlers than I do TKAs, though I'm sure what we each "see" has a lot to do with what we expect to see. Besides which, it's not even an apt comparison. Your trolling about TKs belongs on the TK board if it belongs anywhere at all.
The issue here is that DEs are cynical from being dumped on, and they expect that new content will be added for aprofession which functions very well over fixing aprofession that has very little functionality.
Rationalize it all you want, but CHs are looking for a second helping of cake while DEs are still hoping for a sip or two of water.

The way I've seen it, CH kinda got shafted a bit. When they got nerfed, and they really did get nerfed pretty good, they were also promised a lot of new types of babies would begin spawning to help offset the castration of almost every tameable creature. Now, many of these new babies would be rare, and some would be super rare. My understanding is that most have been super super super rare as in never, every having been seen by anyone... as in they didn't get what they were promised. That may be what this is all about.

Bah! this a DE forum and all Ch talk here in this thread. So i'll add my bit... Let CH pets suffer from deathblow. Gives them a market of repeat sales then
Faction pets suffer from deathblow, why cant CH pets?
would say let DE pets suffer from deathblow, but we aint got any worth getting out in a fight.

We had Deathblow, it BLEW! With the Nerf of our Probot and permadeath for droids, the droid market dried up to just crafting droids only, which is a PissPoor market, since this IS a combat game. Galactic Civil War ring any bells?.IT SUCKED HARD!!!

I read that thread yesterday... actually it was one of the few I could read with all the forum problems 
From what I read, CHs are demanding RARE pets babies to spawn more often. Then I thought two thinks:
- if they are actually not spawning at all, then there is a bug that should be fixes... just like our tons of bugs...
- but if that babies are spawning very rarely... well, thats why they are called RARE pets, arent they? If this is the case there is no reason at all for CHs to cpmplain again, they have to learn they cant have all the uber creatures they want!! That would be unballancing!!

Much of the CH argument has to do with the disagreement that the BE pets are currently stronger then pets that can be tamed in the wild, as they are supposed to be. Some CH's who have played CH for some time and that have grown accustomed to how it used to be don't like how it is now. Those are CH issues to be worked out.Call it a division within their community, much like DE's own division. I'm not saying that you shouldn't wade into their boards and have a say, but I see no reason to come bringing it back into the DE forum simply to say "those darn CH's, they get all this time and we get nothing, and now they want more!". Of course they want more, everyone wants more dev time. If you got everything in DE fixed and working great, you'd want more time to add more things that are great to the profession. No one is ever satisfied, but the rational people in both communities know how it is.
Theres a simple reason why they got all this time; They were broken, but in a different way. They were too strong for the game. That's a muchmore criticalimbalance than a profession being too weak or nonfunctional. I have no problem with them asking for types of babies to spawn. After all, isn't the DE community always ready to tell TH andanyone elsewhat droids and droid typesshould and must be in the game? Isn't everyone allowed to have and hold and express an opinion? If the dev take these opinions to heart and decide to act on it, you can't blame the players for voicing their views and getting dev time.
