While I have no problems with you doing that, I certainly won't be as I'm all for a DH profession. I will be selling at the going price. If I don't sell any because of the freebie giveaways, no skin off my nose. However, I reckon I'll still make sales as there are times where the giveaway DEs aren't online or out of good resources etc. On Bria, the DEs that I know seem to be far more level headed than most on the boards here (the only ones I normally see posting these days is Kenner and Ho'Gi). Most just don't seem to care.

If it makes you happy TK, then go for it I guess. You'll likely irritate some of your fellow DEs on Ahazi,but as you said, you wouldn't be breaking any "rules." You'll undoubtedly flood the market for quite some time, if not indefinitely. Some people will still buy their DH combat droids from other vendors, even though they have to pay, because they're loyal to a particular vendor.Occasionally, vendor loyalty will outweigh "free" droids. That being said, we're probably only looking at a small minority of users (less than 5%). The other 95% would probably flock to the "free" droids you'd be offering (assuming you advertise well).

I'm personally rather glad you're not on *my* server I'm completely opposed to the DH plans and the broken state of our profession. However, the only way I foresee getting any happiness from the whole situation will be selling the new droids. New sales, new ways to make credits, end ofstory. The short-term spike in sales is the only thing I've got left to look forward to.If I honestly thought a strike would work, I'd join in. But it never does, so I'm not going to fool myself. May as well continue business as usual, and make the best of it.

Don't know how long you could keep this up, if you actually did try something like this, hopefully you'd go out of business pretty quickly.

But I'm sure all the rest of the DE on your server, or any other server that this happens on, would really like to thank you for skrewing them all.

Thanks for suggesting it so other DE might also consider this line of action.

lol, go out of business. How? Harvestors spontaneously explode? A swoop sale a day keeps me in business. and people buy them all the time since they get destroyed easily.

Well, TK, allegorically speaking, when Walmart comes to town, hand me a blue vest. I'll back you 100%. I definately think batteriestoo. So is it 1 or 5 per person?

I'd encourage you to re-read my post (and consider this thread) pretending that I WERE the person that posted it. Allegory is purely symbolic of an intended 'thing to think about'...

We have spoken, we have made all the alternativesclearly available, and we have participated in the appropriate threads in the development forum.

Anyone who comes into the DE forum at this time and pulls this kind of childish trolling isn't worth the time - going into a profession forum, insulting them, and making pithy comments is some people's ideas of fun, and it's best to ignore them.

I doubt the Devs will notice what you've done. Or care. Or that anyone else will care, except for the fellow DEs on your server who dont' like it, and the non-DEs and DHs who do.

But...my impressionis that you're not doing this to change the game. Or get noticed by the Devs. Or do anything at all...except make yourself happy that your galaxy has free combat droids for everyone.

If that's your goal, well, more power to you. At least you're doing *something*, besides banging your head against a wall and getting frustrated with the whole thing.

I figure that I could affect the droid market to the tune of about 20 million credits, give or take. But that's a pretty rough estimate.

After seeing Drashk's new compromise proposal, I think I have a pretty good shot at having other fun ways to play...but that's just me.

I'm still kind of on the fence on this issue (read: it's still allegory, folks, okay?.)

Those foam gloves are great! lol! I put them on the ground and my German Shepard gets super pissed off at them and shakes the crap out of them in his mouth and just gets more mad cause the gloves wont shut up. lol!

Oh yeah an I am all for exercises with allergies!

Not only do you flood the market with free droids, but I can already smell nerf. I mean a CH can have 2 GM's out AND a Probot and a MDE can't even have a mount and a droid out at the same time. So if the CHcan get free combat droids, they will now have even more pets out.

This is the best idea yet.
