Maybe we could have one of these fine fellows ( I assume male, but after Sintrosi's gender questions, I shouldn't assume anything) become the Correspondent but have 2 Vice-Correspondents. That would spread out the work load, allow all three to have quality "play time" and would be a very balanced affair. I think all three bring unique and valuable skills to this profession. The Vice-Corrs would report directly to the Corr who would interact with TH and the Devs'. Reasonable?

I'll avoid any speculation at this point and say that I am male, always have been, always will be. Your plan is acutally akin to one I've proposed to TH, who has said that it was not "officially" possible, but did not stop any unofficial alliances. I would fully support this plan where the three of us were to work together with one of us acting as chief correspondant.

So that the great gender debate does not ensue, for the record I am male. This is true,at least until my girlfriend decides to nerf me while I sleep, dueto the fact thatI spend too much time on the computer.

The idea of Vice-Correspondents is a very reasonable idea; however, unless I miss my guess, there is some kind of contract that is provided to the Correspondent that has to deal with a privacy clause. If this is correct, then the information flow would be mostly one sided, between the Correspondent, and his/her (can't exclude the fairer half, just in case) Vice-Correspondents.Havinga few more hands at the keyboard to help out could reduce the Correspondents work load, butthe Correspondent would still need to go over all of the information, since it is utlimately the responsiblity of the Correspondent to collect the data.

I am absolutely certain thateveryonethatis under consideration for the position willstill perform the same actions that they perform now, which earned them recognition in the first place. Its this information that is the most valuable to the Correspondent.I believe that Sintrosi would agree on this - if it wasn't for some of the memebers of this community that have dedicated themsleves to helping the community, his job would have been much, much more difficult.

I've been a Bad droid engineer lately. All my vendors are bone dry becaue being mayor of a major city takes up a ton of time. And my alt character is a novice CH (please dont shoot).

However I am voting for Gorantoth, He rocks

I will support the Gorantoth nomination for DE correspondent....I don't agree 100% with all the ideas but he still has my vote.

As someone who has been around since day one i have seen a great many people come and go in our proffession. Many have just simply left because of the vast amount of effort they put in just to have it mean nothing in the end. But we are finally getting attention and the next coming months truely require someone who has heart and devotion to our profosion.

I cast my vote for Gorantoth, he has put alot of work into his droid issues....although not perfectly up to date and 100% accurate...no one can be expected to constantly keep it perfect.. based on the vast amount of work that took it shows he has the devotion to the profession and maturity to deal with things in a constructive no flaming manor.

Why: I've actually run into him on TestCenter. Plain and simple, he spends time there. We will need that when/if we are getting the improvements in January like they say we are.

Right. With the up-coming changes in Jan-Feb, we're gonna have only a few days turn-around to get feedback to the Devs. We need a correspondent who can say, "you know I tried the MSE bomb and its pretty innefective since it counts against your only droid and requires batteries and you cant recharge it during combat which is the only time its called."

Any of the 3 would be excellent choices. (As would a few others who haven't put their names in the hat.)

I will hate to lose him to Test Center, but I'll vote for Woodrow. Setting up and running the Droid Engineer Association on Ahazi and running DE Net took a lot of time and effort and, to me, demonstrate that he's capable of coordinating a bunch of wonks like us.

It's wonks like you that... oh, you voted for me! I mean to say 'It's wonks like you that we all love.'

But Whomever gains the position of correspondent I will fully support in any way that I can. Not entirely sure how I can support them, but I have the ear closest to the populous as a whole, and fairly decent information and people coordination skills. If those are of any value to the Correspondent, all they have to do is ask.

Course if I'm elected then you're all fired! Joking. But aswith theDEA and DEnet before, I am here to help, however I may be useful. As far as why, you ask? Two reasons. First, I am naturally inclined to try and get everyone to succeed. That inner desire dominates my life and also filters into my enjoyment time. Second, I like doing what few people have ever done before (why I'm in DE), and helping to change the face of an MMORPG is a rare event that few people get to do. So however I can help I'm more than happy to do.

With a forum name like yours, I think your gender is hardly a mystery.
