I was going to apoligize for losing it when I suppose I should be mature and set an example .. but **edit** it. I am still pissed. Mainly because I cant afford my house maintenance let alone a mount.

To be fair, could the devs really have foreseen these ridiculous prices? I sure didn't.

Sintrosi,

You are our voice. What you say and feel is exactly the same way 90% of our members. I might be overflating my % of people but damnit if it shouldn't be higher. =)

You have no need to appologize. The only people that read these boards anyway are either supporters of our profession or other DE's themselves. Heck even the moderators don't even come in here to clean up. So say what you will and lets all vent together.

LancerDL,

I agree we have a right to be mad, but I wish you could explain to me the problem with auto storage of droids. I have not used a droid in combat yet, so I may just not see the problem. I do have a CH character. One of the major complaints on the CH boards was that a pet could get incapped, thus losing vitality. Then, as soon as it revived, it could get incapped again, and again, and again. Each time, losing more and more vitality. I see this auto store as a fix for that problem.

Do we not have the same problem with Droids? If we do, does not the same fix help us? Sorry to be dense, but when I heard about this, I THOUGHT it was a good thing. I wish someone could explain it to me.

Thanks.

This is a nerf

This is a nerf, since we could use the repair mod from another droid to fix a droids vitality and black ham bar. BUT, there wher no charges or such so they nerfed it.

Thanks for the response, but now I am even more confused. You admit that we have no way, other than storing the incapped droid to heal it. So how is it a bad thing for that to happen automatically. I know you will need to make a camp to call it out again, but you would have to do that if you stored it to heal any way.

Yes I realize that CHs are getting way to much gravey compared to DEs. You have absolutely no argument from me there.

Graeme,

Droids heal, whether they are in the datapad or not. I am not sure, but I think they heal at relatively the same rate in either situation. Given that, there is no real advantage to them being in the datapad unless you are worried about them getting destroyed again.

I always considered a probot to be a damage add, staying back to add to my attacks where I take most of the damage. For people who use the probot the same way, it doesn't matter how injured it is as long as it is able to take shots from where it is relatively safe.

I know what you mean. It's kind of sad that we tank for our probots, huh?

I bought my Kuuda and Carrion Spat from BEs who said they were selling them cheap before the patch. Not to hard to foresee.

How cheap? I have a BE friend and I know he wasn't selling them for anywhere near the 100k+ I've heard about them going for.

I feared that was going to happen, but I wasn't sure. You know, before mount vendors appeared on TC, mounts were going for between 2k and 3k credits, if not less.

Unfortunately, the live servers are packed with all the min-maxers who became CH for that reason, and who would never dream of helping out by joining TC. Those jerks are almost guaranteed to gouge, and the borderline folks are going to see those prices, the dollar signs are going to pop up in their eyes just like Scrooge McDuck, and they're going to match the insane prices. The few folks left who aren't jerks will be mostly giving mounts away for free or cheap to their friends.

Was I certain folks would be gouging for mounts? No. Am I surprised? No.
