Hey TK, can you see about getting A+ stims added so we can add those too?
This is gonna hurt but I can tell you already that it's only going to be straight Stim As (no A+'s) for the foreseeable future. It might change at some point down the line...but only likely after they have some metrics on how this is playing out.
If it appears that it would be okay (no imbalancing) to add Stim A+'s, then they could likely add that. For now, assume that this will not happen.

Ihave a Doctor aswell, theres a biggap between master doctors and mastermedics, doctors are playing a whole different game, when im out doing my job imususaly in rancor or nightsistergroups with a group of fullybuffed people, if i heal one of them with a stimpack A its a tragic joke.
My alt is a Master Doctor as well, and I beg to differ. I would love to have one of these droids (and will have Arolena make me one as soon as this patch goes live) for hunting in big groups (even in Nightsister territory). I see it as a tool to keep my party alive long enough for me to get around to healing all of them, and to allow me to use some of my pistoleer specials once in a while instead of having to leave my combat cue clear during a heavy fight. If I have a CM with me, I don't need this droid, but if I don't, having something that can keep folks going as I do the full heals with my Stim D's or E's would be very useful.
In fact, I would have loved to have one of these during my last (unsuccessful) trip through the Corellian Corvette. ![]()

From what i understand its only useable by someone in your own group, not just anyone walking by.
Right, but a medic could easily get one, fill it up, and sell it. Then you've got someone with no medic skills that can get themselves healed, without a medic. As far as the number of times you'd have to run back to town, I can make R3's with 6 of these modules that will hold over 500 stims, and I only got them up to 88% experimentation or so. Get yourself a couple good 100 heal stim A's and you've got yourself some good support. However, I still see the main use for this as beeing support in groups that alreayd have medics/docs. This droid can keep you on your feet for that second or two for the real doc to get in rage, or give him time for his mind to regen, or just catch up with all the heals. Factor in the high speed with the 30m range and these things will definately be wanted by most any doc doing group hunting (I know I would have killed for something like this when I was a doc).
It will be a big help for me as a BH with no novice medic.. I opted for the "Dabble to get defenses" line and keep a muon and a pixie hot queued.. but if I could have a little R3 following me around like a bounty hunter groupie, it would help me considerably

[...]Allowing a better medical profession to put in a stronger stimpack and still allow it to be used by anyone without the need of any medical skills, defeats the whole purpose of being a aid to the medic in a crisis situation.

Personally, I don't think this module is intended for use by large groups that have access to Master Doctors or Master Combat Medics. This is intended to provide nominalsupport for small groups that don't have a Medic and for solo non-combatants to use to help them clear out nests near their harvesters, etc.
I will find one of these droids invaluable and will use it extensively, which will provide additional income to medics who can sell me Stim As. All I'll have to do is add a /requestStimpack line to each of my combat macros and one of these little guys will easily keep me alive in the wild.

Does the medical use skill of the droid enhance the healing capabilities? Has anyone played with this?
The heal rate is exactly as the stim says. If the Stim-A says it has a power of 85, it will heal Health/Action for 85.
One thing I recall seeing was that they were thinking about altering stimpacks to heal mind as well, don't know if it came to anything or not, but if it did the droids could become more valuable as a sort of "combat boost". Also don't forget people like the carbineers who complain that their specials drain their HAM too quickly, I have no doubt that some of these people will decide that the Droid is worth buying in that case
does the droid have to be targeted to use the command?
If it doesn't what is the effect of having a group of say 5 people with 5 droids?
does the 1 command activate all droids so you get a heal from all of them? i.e. 5 x 80 = 400 heal!

the droid doesn't have to be targeted I believe, I'll have to try multiple droids, could be interesting...
/bump for updates
Do they work in Probots?
If yes, thenif your Probot is in combat and you give the /requestStimpack command what happens?
Do Level-6 Medical Modules enhance ithe effectiveness of Stimpacks used by the droid?
What would be better/more usefulla Probot with 3 Combat, 1 Level-6 Medical, and 1 Stimpack Dispensor or a Probot with 3 Combat and 2 Stimpack Dispensors?
Thanks for the info.

Yep

I believe (though I'm not 100% positive) it will heal you. The way its been working the state of the droid (other than low power) doesn't seem to effect the healing.

No

3 combat and 2 stim assuming you don't want to use it as a medical droid for buffing or healing. The more stimpack dispensers you add the more stimpacks the droid will hold and the more frequent it will be able to heal. With 2 stim modules you'd probably get about 160 charges worth of storage and a heal rate of about 10 seconds. (thats not the max, but is about what you'd get with good (not perfect) resources.
Thanks for the info.
