You do NOT need novice medic to request a stimpack.
Woot!
Now to go cultivate the friendship of a few more Docs who can load up some droids
Thank you
Do they work in Probots?
If yes, thenif your Probot is in combat and you give the /requestStimpack command what happens?
Do Level-6 Medical Modules enhance ithe effectiveness of Stimpacks used by the droid?
What would be better/more usefulla Probot with 3 Combat, 1 Level-6 Medical, and 1 Stimpack Dispensor or a Probot with 3 Combat and 2 Stimpack Dispensors?
Thanks for the info.

The details are shown during module creation.

While experimenting on these stimpack dispenser droids. Will the numbers show up on what the dispensetime and load capacity is during experimentation or will you have to wait until the 'deed' is done?
The same question relates to all the modules and droids during crafting really.
The droid repair and reconditioning kits dont show the information until completed now. Have this been fixed for Publish 8?
All these new modules have alot of potential, but they all fall short somehow to the point where they are debatably pointless.
How bout this.
There are variable Tierof levels in the medic/doctor skill that let you put an increasinly better stimpack in thesocket.
Pharmacology4 lets you use stimpack As
and Doctor medicine knowledge lets you put in Stimpack Bs which aregood enough
And if thats not satisfying then at Master Doctorthey can put in StimpackCs,but i thinkBs are enough.
Granted theres a lot of low level people that will find immense usefullness in this thing, but low level people tend to grow up, and fast. What will be a godsend one evening will be datapad junk the next. There comes a point where the novelty wares off and it becomes harder than its worth to find some medic to put in stimpack As for 45-80point heals max.For anyone facing something bigger than crazed durnies, its going to be trivial.Even if it is usefull in reduceing downtime, and with goodrationing, youll findyourself running back to town ever 10-12 kills to havefill up its stimpack hopper, unless your a medic. And will these newbieshave the money to buy droids like this? or will it be another probot. Aslong as people buy it is good enough for me as a DE, but will people use it? Im sure if i put this sucker in aMSE droid, sell it for 2-3k, they'll get there moneys worth. But it seems that they're alittle to much of a hastle to use forlimitedbenifit.
A newbie would say: yippee my new best friend
a veteren of some sort: whats in it for me?
We're not all newbies, in addition newbies usualy dont stay newbies.
Ihave a Doctor aswell, theres a biggap between master doctors and mastermedics, doctors are playing a whole different game, when im out doing my job imususaly in rancor or nightsistergroups with a group of fullybuffed people, if i heal one of them with a stimpack A its a tragic joke. During downtimey the time everyone is healed up useing StimpackAs, which im sure willget alot of laughs, i would have been able to heal them completly with stimpack Bs, and not have to deal with loading and powering the droid.if this is such a boon for the architype i would likewould like to see some sort of utility for higher end people. The concept is pretty cute, maybe ill find something usefullfor him to do, but come on really, look howDoctors play where the utility, If we could use stimpack Bs, which are the standard, i'd be pretty happy.
How about this,at MK4 a doctor can load stimpack Bs, but if the droidis transfered to a non doctor, the healing is caped at a lower number. If therewhere a way to do this im sure it wouldnt exclude medics.
My question for this one... does the person loading the droid have to be the owner, or can they be a 'friend' or someone in the droid's group?
Right now, it has to be the droid's "owner". So, one would actually have to use "Transfer" to the Medic, they load it and transfer it back.

From what i understand its only useable by someone in your own group, not just anyone walking by.
Right, but a medic could easily get one, fill it up, and sell it. Then you've got someone with no medic skills that can get themselves healed, without a medic. As far as the number of times you'd have to run back to town, I can make R3's with 6 of these modules that will hold over 500 stims, and I only got them up to 88% experimentation or so. Get yourself a couple good 100 heal stim A's and you've got yourself some good support. However, I still see the main use for this as beeing support in groups that alreayd have medics/docs. This droid can keep you on your feet for that second or two for the real doc to get in rage, or give him time for his mind to regen, or just catch up with all the heals. Factor in the high speed with the 30m range and these things will definately be wanted by most any doc doing group hunting (I know I would have killed for something like this when I was a doc).
