Thread: Probot 990 HAM, 100 120 Damage, 1.5 Attack Speed, and 0.35 To Hit
*phew* I thought I was screwed with my stock of 980 OQ Chem.

So probot deeds no longer use good quality chem but fiberplast? Why the change?
This was a mistake on my part...I only use fiber and wasn't thinking.

It looks like a bit of an upgrade on the old droids but the big question is will it be cost effective to make them since it appears that the resources needed to create probes with full weapon mods goes through the roof.

If the stats stay as they are reported in this thread, yes.
If the stats are lowered, as expected, it's unclear.
I'm actually starting to hope that they *will* stay just like this - maybe this is our "gift"...or to keep us quiet, LOL. Either way, I'd be pleased as punch if they stay at this level.

But Jenden..how can you say its not 'that much more expensive'..it looks more expensive to me by quite a bit. Please explain your thinking here
Thanks
Just a note for all of you who say you cant find the HQ fiboplast you need. Polymer also works in the final assembly of a Probot/R series, as well as Fiboplast. As a Master Weaponsmith/DE, I keep around 80 different metals/gasses/chems/gems/flora on me all the time. (A pain in the ass alot of the times, as you can imagine, espcially making droidarmor, I have on average 12 types of steel on me, and of couse the amazing inventory shuffle everytime you log on does not help)
I still have around 7k units of the 1000 OQ polymer that spawned on Talus/Gorath a few months ago. I use it whenever I am making a new droid for friends, but now I will hold on to the rest and see what type of droids I can make with it after the new patch.

Add armor and droid stims, and we're in the money. Now THAT would be two products to sell.

With these new "combat modules", has there been a change in required resources? What should we be stocking up on?
So, there aren't really "new" combat droids. They're just beefing up Probots. Great! Hey, SOE, thanks for completing the circle.
1) check out the "changes so far..." stickied at the top of the forum. Drashk posted the "new list."
2) Well, they did say that they were going to "un-Nerf" the probot back in September...I assume this is it.
