TK- Any word in the correspondant forums on if the current crafting ratios will change before Live?


Right now 20:1 ratio is pretty harsh. And I dont mind grinding but jeez how can any casual player mass 32 million steel by themselves?

Anything that's in testing on TC / TC2 is always on the table to be changed.


And...yes, the XP ratios are being discussed a lot all over the place (not just on the Corr. boards).

Silly question, but, I see that you've stated "of the correct type" as far as XP goes. That leads me to believe that there is FS Crafting XP, FS Medic XP, FS Combat XP, etc... Am I understanding that correctly? Is it just me, or doesn't this smell of just a different flavor of hologrinding? or do the FS quests actually give out decent chunks of FSXP to the point where it's not more efficient to "grind and convert"?

My question is about the coloring. I currently have a BUTTLOAD of combat XP (comes from hologrinding and having no need to use it). Will this be able to be combined with my DE XP to help buy the skill I want or is this XP "Force Combat" xp while the DE stuff is "Force Crafting" xp.


Basically, is the xp from each group 'pooled' as one type for that color or is it ALL pooled into ONE.

I can only assume that I can convert all my unused XP to FS xp. You know the rinky dink ones, like my left over Survival (I capped this while camps were still needed to call vehicles), Scouting (capped that while leveling up Artisanmaking Bone Armor Chest Plates), some Architecture (making my own personal harvestors before they gave artisan), Unarmed (I think I punched something and it died once), and so on and so on. I might even have some other xp from sitting by a Factory (back when factories gave xp).


It would be real nice to use all those.

Disregard the conversion rates that were listed. They have changed. As to the color groupings....


There are 4 different FS 'professions' that you have access to.



  1. Combat Prowess

  2. Crafting Mastery

  3. Enhanced Reflexes

  4. Heightened Senses

Each of these 'professions' require different types of FS XP. The XP groups break down into each the 4 FS XP categories.

As of right now the droid crafting ratio is back to 5:1.

Are there still the divisions?

You are showing 3 colors (FS XP types) but mention 4 "FS Professions"



Perhaps I should spend the weekend on TC2....

Weapon and Combat XP are used for the two combat specific FS trees.


The above list is grouped together to show which XP falls together

Ok, well since I havn't seen a definite answer regarding this anywhere... what's the deal for those of us who holo-grind unlocked (32 professions later) between pub 9 and 10?

No one knows for sure. The current rumor is that you will start at Jedi Initiate and have to do the Padawan trials.
