I like Master Artisan and all, however, I think our dependancy is still a bit on the extreme side.
No less extreme than Armorsmith to Taylor. . Armormsith needs Fiberplast Panels, Reinforced Panels, SynthCloth, Armor Padding, and Fasteners. On average i need 3 parts per armor piece out of that set, sometimes in crates.

Well, besides the two "top" ones mentioned so far, i.e. naming of "humanoid" droids and less co-dependancy, here's what I would like to see answered.
And I'm sorry that they have been brought up before, and even sorrier that I'm comparing us to CH, but the Devs like CH so much, what the heck!
1. Why can Droid Engineers not be able tohave more than five droids in their datapad as they progress up in skillboxes, since CH's gain more by doing so? If we are to be thought of as the "mechanical CH's" then so be it, but let us gain the same advantage here that the CH does. We have the same needs, having enough variety onhand to display to prospective buyers and enough variety to have the-one-you-need-at-the-moment, whether for battle or harvesting or stimpack dispensing or auto-repair or surveying or barking our wares.
2. Why can Droid Engineers not be able to call out more than one Droid at once (e.g., one Combat and one non-combat (whether harvesting or maintenance)), as they progress up in skillboxes, since CH's gain more by doing so? If we are to be thought of as the "mechanical CH's" then so be it, but let us gain the same advantage here that the CH does.

oops. sorry for the double post. when I tried to submit it the first time, the little "You must be subscribed...." popup showed up, so I didn't think it posted. I hurriedly ctrl-c copied the page, and when I hit submit again (without signing it.......????) it posted just fine. Twice. sheesh
Could be restricted just to MDE so that there will be *some* turnover from droid owners getting rid of their old ones and buying new ones. Too many people ask to trade in their old droid for a new one and I have to turn them down since my datapad is full.

I'll want to rephrase the final question...this is just my short list for you to have for now.
- "The DE community and non-DEs alike feel that naming ALL droids is an important aspect of their use. They make droid's a personal thing (as they should be). Can we get the naming of ALL droids to be a priority for work before the release of Space?"
- "Why can Droid Engineers nothave more than five droids in their datapad as they progress up in skillboxes?"

...I'd say any one of these five is a great 'frontrunner' choice right now.

I think you missed a really good one TK. Although it was kind of hidden inside another question.
Q: "Can we expect to see more specific Chassis benefits, such as the MSE droid and detonation modules, in the future, and if so when?"
Looks good so far but......
BUG FIXES, When is the stuff we got gonna work? I have people literally camping my shop asking where their sturcture maintenance droids are. Of course the one that everyone seems to want is the broken one. If we dont get a fix on this i think im gonna get a droid-shopper TEF and get attacked by my customers.
I don't mean to minimize your concern (bugs are important) but I don't think we want to waste our question on something so specific as the state of the Structure Maint. modules.
The intent (best as I can tell) of the 19 Answers thread is to bring up (and hopefully address) larger issues and concerns.

Well my issue stems from a marketing standpoint, I think the number one question should go foward as the Naming Droids Issue. As AO said it seems minor, but from the marketing side the casual consumer (ie not looking for a combat droid or a creature harvesting droid specifically), one who is looking for immersion thru the droid will be alot happier when he/she can have his/her droid named R2D2 or whatever they want.
Well, just bear in mind, the filter isn't going to allow any form of the 'famous'/EU droids that we all know. Outside of that, I think there'd be freedom.
