simple: i stopped posting when i found out the following:

1. there is no Droid Dev asigned to this board.

2. the devs treat droids like pets.

3. (not a flame just a fact as i see it) Was explained by Holo that to change a DE schematic required to much work and it the effectedto many other schematics. Since the Dev that works on the DE is currently working on factory and harvester bugs first meaning no fixes for us for a long time down the road.

4. The nerf bats swung so fast on the following it killed the 'player economy' for the need of droids. (armour caps for droid, probot ham reduced too far, data storage reduced to factory schematics)

5. no way to repair droids white damage (and they don't seem to care about it!)

I think thats the feeling i get from all the general content from SOE is they don't seem to care about fixing any of the droid issues. I get this feeling mainly from what i stated in item 3 and 4. A nother reason is i keep seeing delay tactics from SOE by repeating questions like 'what type of droid would you guys like to see?' and 'what type of modules would you guys like to se?' Both have been answered since released and no comment's on the treads after good feed back is given. You asked why we don't post andI am only answering that question. This is how I feel and this is why i don't post much.

Ok lets curnch some numbers here.

What is there about 200 DE posters here not counting lurkers? And that 200 is 2% of the total number of DE's in game. Therefore there are about 10,000 total DE's ingame (practicing or not). 10,000 * .02 = 200

And if there are 10,000 DE's and 9% of them are masters then there are about 900 master DE's, out of over 300,000 players ingame!

Ok lets say I'm wrong, lets double the figure and say that 400 DE's post here, thats still only 1,800 DE masters in game out of 300,000 people.

I am mostly a lurker. I started looking through these boards when I decided to pick up DE. It has been a wealth of useful information, either finding out what I won't be able to do, what I can do, and that almost everyone else has the same desires for the profession. My character is actually mostly a pikeman (another profession with very few people) but I tend to only come to these boards because I get (or maybe need) more information here.

Thanks for all your work Sin, I am sure we will get our just rewards eventually. Patience is a virtue afterall

Well then, welcome NetJoker. No worries on the english, I'd be awful surprised if people here on the DE boards would flame over misspellings or incorrect english verbige (god knows I've been speaking English all my life and cant spell for &$%#). All DE's have a say and some even have some REALLY good ideas. Dont let you're english skills stop you from sharring with the rest of us, who knows your ideas might be the ones that make the devs think "Hhmm yeah thats doable and easy to fix".

>>>Why do you suppose only 2% of DEs bother to post on the forums?

That's the way it is with every game. I think most people are just playing the game and having fun. They don't take it as seriously as we do.

Also, go around and look at the weapons vendors. There are a LOT of weapons being produced at high skill levels, which are inferior in quality. Take a look at the CDEF weapons in the bazaar. MOST of them are at the lowest level of quality with NO experimentation. Why? I think most people just don't take it seriously. I find it interesting.

I would believe the numbers. It seems like you would see more DE's coming here if they thought it was a valuable use of their time. Word of mouth is, after all, the best advertising.I think the initialrants, ravesand venting of peoplesfrustrationsis over. So we don't really have alot to talk about inour profession right now. Most DE's are in either grind mode or have adopted the attitude that theyare not going to invest anymore time or effort into the profession (including going to the forums) untill they address at least some of the issues with the profession.

I come herehoping to get a glimpse of what might be coming down the pipe for our profession. Alas 75% of what I read is drivel, mindless wanderings. About 25% of it is some pretty good stuff. Thats alot of drivel to get through to get to the pearls. I am only guessing that once the DE profession moves from being a "OMG you got to be kidding me" profession to a "oh wow did you know... " profession that we might see more DE's coming to the boards. There might be more to read or talk about than "Whats up with load lifters?" and "Why doyou think that only 2% of the DE's come to the boards?"

Did not mean for the above to bea flameSintrosi. Just a perspective. After all they pretty much fixed factories. YEAH SOE!!! Thanks!!! There is hope!

I can understand that Ithoe (just went back to the main section and saw the "whats up with load lifters" post hehe made me laugh). Only so many "Why do Probots SUCK?" posts you can see before it starts to grate on your nerves. My personal favorite is those who ask me in game "Why do you still play as a DE, I heard they suck.." awful tough to sell them a droid after that opening.

LOL I guess thats where my stuburness kicks in...I usally tell the differance between the old and new probot and how its a free backup combat addition. Those are the peeps I really try to sale to...its fun for me. I have a 2nd character that i use as combat and he has 4 probots that he uses plus non-ch pet todo missions. After people see how i use my probots (making a camp switching to another when the first is beat up bad) they usally run out and buuy 2 to 3 for them selves.

I still don't think these numbers are right.

Everybody ask yourself this. How many DE's have you met in the game, and what percent of them post on these forums?

It is much higher than only 2 of every 100 DE's that is for sure!

Sorry to be negative, but I am still a little upset at no DEV RESPONSE TO DE! This is more BS.

I occasionally post. Mostly when I have questions I can't find the answer for first. I guess I also dont post often because you people seem to have the issues that concern me covered and being verbose about something already posted seems redundant to me.

"i read ,but i dont post ,cuz my english is not good enough ,i am a asian player "

English is my only language and I should not be allowed to post because my grammar and spelling is terrible, so I wouldnt sweat it.

The only reason I post so much is because my job allows me to mess around on the internet most days. On the weekends I almost never post, and once I get a more demanding job I will only be able to check on them after work. If you sort through all the arguments you can at times find some very useful information as well as some very funny things. I have also met some good people through using these boards.

On a sidenote, I am also persuing master pistoleer but very rarely post or read those forums, just because not much is happening.

I'm a doc whowanted togo DE. By the time I got the GCXP (Still have it) I decided not to take it because of all the issues/grinding. PlusI figured nobody would want to buy from me until I hit master, and that wasn't a very nice prospect.
