Hey wait a minute... does this mean they're reading our forum???

Another master DE on bria is liquidating all his droid inventory (30+ droids and 15 crates of BH droids) and quitting the game. announced today

2% only bother to post. I would guess that another 2-8% lurk. There are also a lot of people who don't bother with the forums unless they have a specific problem and can't find anyone in-game to help them. There are probably a lot of people who don't even know the forums exist.

Another reason not that many post on these forums is they have their PA forums. Based on my PA of around 30 people, only 5 or 6 actively read the official forums. The rest are active on our PA forum and get all the info about changes and such from other PA members. In addition to PA forums, there are many other SWG sites withforums. It's too much work for some people to post on one forum, let alone multiple forums.

I'm willing to bet 2% is fairly standard. I mean for the entire boards I'll bet only about 2% of the players post. Out of 300,000 users that'd still be 6000 posters on these boards.

Been reading for quite some time, very interesting stuff. But i really don't have much to add as it as already really been said.

I would believe the numbers.It seems like you would see more DE's coming here if they thought it was a valuable use of their time. Word of mouth is, after all, the best advertising.I think the initialrants, ravesand venting of peoplesfrustrationsis over. So we don't really have alot to talk about inour profession right now.Most DE's are in either grind mode or have adopted the attitude that theyare not going to invest anymore time or effort into the profession (including going to the forums) untill they address at least some of the issues with the profession.

I come herehoping to get a glimpse of what might be coming down the pipe for our profession. Alas 75% of what I read is drivel, mindless wanderings. About 25% of it is some pretty good stuff. Thats alot of drivel to get through to get to the pearls. I am only guessing that once the DE profession moves from being a "OMG you got to be kidding me" profession to a "oh wow did you know... " profession that we might see more DE's coming to the boards. There might be more to read or talk about than "Whats up with load lifters?" and "Why doyou think that only 2% of the DE's come to the boards?"

Hey I want to know who was the first DE on each server and stuff like that... any ways back to getting the 9% up to 10%!!

First off your doing a great job, second i'm primarily a lurker, i've been a master DE for about 1 month and i'm just burnt out on waiting on updates that just seem to not be coming. i've posted a few times requesting info onpatches fixes and i'm just sick that they don't seem to be doing anything with us. i refuse to drop DE because thats one of the main reasons i wanted to play this game, i've mastered it and now am waiting to see what they do with it. You can only ask for status and updates so many times without any response before you get burnt out. i check dev tracker every few days as well as this forum, i glance at some of the posts but as far as i'm concerned the forums aren't really reaching the Devs. Because if they were.. 1. they would work harder on fixing us, one of the most broken, as well as broken the longest classes in the game. or 2. they are waiting for us to get sick of waiting have us all change professions then drop us from the game. I don't mean to add negativity, i'm just frustrated. thanks
