I just fixed it Capt. Someone sent me a PM stating that I had the wrong box listed, during the last version, and I changed it without double checking.

cool - I only picked up on it because I'm on the grind just now, and noticed I had the adv. frames before the expert...
And I'm guessing it's been a while since you actually went through it.

This is the BEST guide I have seen.
I don't suppose you have a copy of it in a text file do you. I would love to print it out.
Thanks
I was actually thinking of creating a Word document that also included TK's work - but obtaining permission first, of course, before seeing it would be made readily available.

If you chose the Manipulator Arm Package Sets route, it will take 203 successful builds to make it to Expert Droid Blueprints or approximately 14300 metal, 3960 ferrous metal, 13200 extrusive ore, and 3300 chemical. If you chose to stick with the MSE grind it will take you 458 successful crafting sessions and approximately 26500 metal and 7500 chemical to advance to the next level. You will want to train Expert Droid Blueprints, in order to find the next fastest way to progress.
At Expert Droid Blueprints, you will want to switch over to Advanced Droid Frame Units which will give you 462 XP in practice mode or 440 XP while crafting an item for your inventory. Each Advanced Droid Frame Unit requires 150 steel and 70 Fiberplast.
Shouldn't the instances of "Expert Droid Blueprints" read as "Advanced Droid Blueprints"?
Since the progression is (novice ->) Intermediate -> Advanced -> Expert -> Master (-> Master DE)
From intermediate to advanced is the 67200 xp (or just over 203 x 331).
Then, you gain the Advanced Droid Frame in Advanced Droid Blueprints
Unless, of course, where you say "expert..." you mean the train up to expert.
can anyone verify if I'm incorrect here, please? I know it's a small point - I just want to be sure of which skill box was meant. (this is section 7 pt 4, btw)
Oh, and as a small section addition to that bit, a what to grind next in regards to skills?
ie: do I grind production or refinement first? While production gives me more items to put into droids, refinement allows me to make better droids.
etc.

That would be real handy. I am one of those people that like to have an old fashioned pile of paper to refer to.

Awesome compilation of useful information! I will definately be printing it out for future reference.
And thanks for including my website in your LINKS section 6. I have already added all I know about JTL to my site to keep it up to date (I am still working on the new version 3.0 of the site, and expect to launch that in a month). As always, I appreciate any input or corrections. Thanks.
p.s. Wouldn't it be nice if droid crafting were a little more like Shipwright crafting..... Take out old module, replace with better module. Methinks they finally got it right with ships. Too bad they didnt think of that in time for Droids...

Well, the problem with that implementation is that a droid chassis doesn't cost nearly as much as a ship chassis, so changing droids over to the ship methodology of crafting would devastate our meager sales. And it really doesn't cost the average player that much to re-order another droid. My two bits.

Maybe... but how about the RE-DEED feature for a starship chassis! now that is sweet!

Re-Deeding is something that I support, since it would allow a DE the ability to show off different wares, without losing a droid.
I'm brainstorming a post on the problems that I foresee with turning Droids into a swap-out system, like we see with Ships.
I'm trying to do a pros and cons type set up, but so far the cons are outweighing the pros at about 3 to 1.

Oh yes, that would be very very cool. That would allow me to store my ancient Probot that really serves no purpose other than it's historical/sentimental value. Go get 'em, Drashk!

I'd like to see that list. What you consider "pros" and "cons"...

You have the auto-repair module maximum listed as 20, when I believe the actual cap is 25. I know I can hit a 20 rating at 80% experimentation (actually 20.25 or higher because 4 of them add to 81).
EDIT: It's listed in section 10, part 2 by the way (just so you don't have to search through the whole thing

Well, if this is a bug, it's been infor the last couple of patches. Just plain old copper and inert gas. I've made a couple of factory runs of level 5 & 6 droid data modules. You still need the identical memory modules though.
