Well interestingly enough, Architect requireslarge amounts of master artisan and DE componenets as well to make decent crafting stations.That's why I think the Master Artisan, Master Architect, Master DE triangle makes alot of sence.

I don think that any artisan eliteshould be without MA, considering you probably want your own vendor, and you probably also want to harvest ressources (Survey). You dont often see people hiring surveyors to find stuff for you

I'm MA and I frequently feel like the 'mule' character you described.. hehe. I have 2 factories chewing on MA components more or less 24/7. I run batches of 1000 and sell by the crate.. makes my PA really happy.

As for being a DE without MA.. I think it will become more common once there's a broader network of DEs working together on each server. For now, however, most DEs are little self-sufficient islands, so having MA is a must!

Master Artisan, novice DE. I make a lot more money selling electronics and novelty items from artisan category.

How do you make a schematic for 1000? I can only do 100.

to answer the question, I don't think there are many. I placed a micro sensor thing (is that the one that requires like 4 other components + resources?) for 1000cr in the bazaar, I've checked every day and it's the only one in it, and it hasn't been sold yet, so I guess everyone is making their own

I'm not an MA. I get scematics for Control units. GPs, and Mems and run them off in my factory. I buy the Micro sensors on the bazaar for about 1000-1500c per. It's not entirely easy, but the credits for MA aren't in the cards either

I was DE 3-3-0-4 before i hit MA

Basically i always have a friend build units of 10 control units and 10 micro sensors so that i can sell probots. after i finish i buy again. later when my consumption was higher i got factory and got some manufacturing schematics. Yes it is tedious. you can survive without MA for a short period. but for long terms and for higher level droids a MA is a must.

Well if any DE's on Bloodfin need schematics just bring me the resources you want put into it and I'll build your schematics for free. Im a MDE and MA (Soon to be Master Arch too).

I would like to know how you get 1000 schematics to? I would love to run off a few batches of these off.

If my 2 factories arent burning out driod parts they are set to mem mods and GP mods. I am close to the point were I need to get ride of MA. The only thing that has stopped me is that with my luck in the future they will make more items in that linethat Im dependant on.

Maybe if you had a master artisan make a bunch of schematics for parts you could factory produce them without needing MA but that would still be incredibly tedious.

I have thought that one through as well.

You could make up your own schematics and save them, but with resource changes that wouldn't work for long.

And most people (rightly so) don't want to sell schematics.

It's the one possibility, but it's not a long term soloution.

The only other thing I have been toying with is opening a second account and making it a master artisan mule...but I'm not ready to take that step yet.

It would be one thing if we needed a special part for a special droid, but we need them across the board.

I'm really curious - I'd like people to weigh in.

I tried it and got exactly nowhere, so now I'm a master artisan. My plan is to stockpile certain resources and then live off the crafting schematics so I can free up some skill points.

I was going to try not to get MA, and just get the MA's in my PA to give me the schematics.... Then 2 things changed..

1. Seekers and Probes got charges and I needed to start mass producing them

2. I got blueprints 3 and 4

After taking a good long look at everything needed, I could not in good consience contine to pester my PA's MA (even with me paying them for stuff, or at least supplying the resources) for componets..
