You only need 2 x Level 3 Amor to get a 40% middle Amorrating. I read that about the two lvl4 Amor so much time here in the boards ... but try it out ... or correct me. But on Server Infinity is no durraloy steel .... and i always get middle amor 40% in my adv. probot with only 2 (in words two) level 3 Amor.

It will be an interesting experiment... maybe that's been changed now. 2 x lvl 3 armour = 1 x lvl 6 armour. Hmm...

Hmm... is that what you meant? 2 x lvl 4 gives you 40% medium armor.

No, I only put in level 3 armor...two modules of em. If we follow the rule for module stacking (3 + (3 - 1)), that would be equivalent to a level 5 armor module, right? So the droid should be medium armor with 24% resists.

Last night, when I made 2x R-units with 2x level 3 armor each, the armor came out to Light armor with 40% resists. This is equivalent to level 3 armor rating.

Thanks for the great FAQ guide. That answered a few of my questions, like: How many modules can a droid have? and that sort of thing. Also a bump.

I'm sorry, but that just cracks me up every time I read it.

This is the same as we found out the last days ... the same modules-stacking have different effects in different Chassis ... if you could trust the shown attributes.

But stacking Item-Storage is easy to test after crafting .... and some other DE told me from things like: " I can only store 1 item but i have built in 2 x Item Level1 Storage - Modules ". Thats why we started test-rows. But we finished it, because we can not trust the stats of the examine command.

And i have to realize again: There are no written rules or perfect "HowTo" to craft a droid

I can live with that ... 3 month more

Can someone explain what use are the treadwell droids

they seems to be exactly the same as MSE droids

do i miss something ?

Treadwell looks different then mouse. Only difference... like R2/R3.

I will have to try this, but before the dismiss command = release and it got rid of the droid completely.

yes .... maybe there some things more changed .. i dont know when it happend (I am only a master since a week) ... but very much informations on these boards i CANT confirm.

Maybe its only on Infinity ... maybe its Me ... i dont know.
Me and some german DE makes some test-rows sinca a few days ... and there are many more things we cant explain ....

As someone pointed out to me, this is actually a display bug. Take a droid with 2 Level 3 Armor plates that reads 40% Medium armor into battle. Track the damage that it recieves, by watching the damage spam above the droid. Then take a droid with 1 Level 6 or 2 Level 4 plates into battle and do the same. Make sure that you are attacking the same kind of creatures in both experiments. You should note that the later of the two droids takes significantly less damage than the first droid.
