You're losing money at 5cr a charge. If you buy resources at the average rate of 3cr per unit, it is costing you 54cr to produce 1 batterywith 4 charges. You are losing 34cr for each battery.

I charge the same. 100cr per charge. I sell enough to make the manufacturing worthwhile and cost effective.

I've been charging 50 credits/charge for them, and just finished selling a run of 200 credit four-charge batteries. Looks like I need to devote some factory time.

Honestly, I may raise to 100 or at least 75 credits a charge, now that they appear to be a truly necessary item, rather than a convenience.

I've got a couple questions in regards to batteries. I'm not a DE so I don't know if it's common knowledge for you guys. What impacts battery usage? Do your droids use battery power while stored? Do they use more if they are used for other purposes like crafting, fighting, medicine, etc.? Do more complex droids use more battery power? I just bought an Advanced Probot and the first day I used it, it was giving me a "Low Power" message after a very short time.

I started selling batteries about a week ago at 110cr a battery (not per charge). They only use 18 resources to build and are an artisan built item (non-elite profession).

I know I'm charging a lot less than other people, but my suspicion is that the price on these is going to come way down once Artisans notice they can make them and sell them for a decent profit (while earning artisan skill points). They are going to become one of the new grinding items for the Artisan profession.

I sell batteries at 25 cr/charge. Crates of 25 x 4-charge batteries for 2500.

They make a good enticement to get people to come out to my vendor, which then results in droid sales. I can make 4-charge batteries using junk resources, so I'm not worried about making a profit on the batteries. They're more of a good-will gesture from me to my customers than anything else.

Just like Roycelimentioned. How does battery life get drained depending on the droid? In theory, an MSE droid should consume less power versus an R2 droid, right? But how can this be seen. Personally, I've been a Droid Engineer for about 1 1/2 weeks now, none of my droids need recharging... maybe it just takes more time.

And I doubt they take batteries when they are stored... I've had droids ever since I started playing SWG (I bought an MSE droid off someone) and it still never needs charging.

(o.O) --- Huh!? What happened?

Is there any kind of meter now so you can tell the charge state of your droid?

A single crate (25x4 charges) takes 450 resources which at 3cr/resource is 1350cr so I consider 3000cr to be agood price although you could charge less and still make a nice profit. Also at 3k I can sell on the Bazaar instead of cluttering up my vendor with them.
