Ten is the absolute maximum limit.

A deed with 'storage rating 26'? Or a real live droid which has 26 item slots when you open it's storage chamber? Big difference, I'm afraid...

It's a real live R4. It used to be my data storage droid (back when you could put animals in droids). I just realized that my mouse droid has storage (6), my R2 has storage (10), and my R4 has 26.

This is the first time I've ever heard a report of a droid with more than ten item storage slots.

Wait, data storage or item storage? you mentioned pets...

Data storage is far less limited, in terms of numbers, being able to go as high as 150. However, since all it will hold these days is a bunch of manufacturing schematics, it doesn't seem to matter.

I am an ent.not DE, so sorry about the intrusion. However, i am in need of a first class storage droid. That is all it has to do, just walk around and be a closet. rofl. I bought one w/14 storage mod, but it doesnt have the storage command on the radial menu. Is this something that I can even do? Do i have to have certain droid skills before i'm able to use a storage droid? Please someone, help me !!!!

Thank you

There are no particular skills required to use storage on a droid.

That '14' storage is ten maximum, but if it's a surgical droid, or a power droid, it doesn't work because you cannot find the 'Open Droid Storage Compartment' menu item won't appear.

Is there a way to access the storage on it?

I guess that answer was kinda confusing to you.

If you droid has working storage on it (i.e. it is not one of the borked models and does have storage modules installed) you will get an option to access that storage on the radial menu.

No option on menu = borked model or no storage installed.

P.S. The droid must be out not just in your data pad.

So is that confirmation that this IS a surgical-style droid?

It's possible that the DE who built it simply does not know about this bug. If he/she is not a frequenter of this forum, or perhaps has taken on the profession recently, it would be quite easy to just assume the combination works.

Notify your DE, most of us will eat the cost as part of the price of doing business, and make the droid up to you. MOST styles of droid do work correctly with item storage.

Yes, it is a surgical droid. And hopefully the DE is as kind as you and would be willing to help me rectify this situatoin. Otherwise, i just ate 18k lol. Good thing i have plenty of doc type friends. Maybe one of them will appriciate it.

I don't know how to tell you this...

So I'll just come flat out and say it: Surgical droids are not, in and of themselves, of any use to a doctor. If that droid has not got a 'medical module' installed (preferably at 110%) it is a rather useless device.

And you wonder why all the DEs you meet are surly and do crazy things?
