Simple question really....do they work? If so, how many items can I store in one? Can I have a number of them?

With an Item Storage 6 module installed, a droid caps out with a capacity of 10 items. You can have up to 5 droids in your datapad.

Is it true that the storage module for droids is still screwed up? I mean like you cannot put things in them?

Bio-Engineering is still THE most broken profession. Yes, that's right. Even with the first fixes for bio-engineering half of skills produce products that are worse then what can be found in the wild. For the record, DE is not as broke as BE (stuff works it is just that a lot doesn't make sense).

Item storage works without a hitch. Max item storage for any droid is limited to 10.

Only 10? I have a droid, purchased a long time ago, that I thought could hold 20 items. Or at least I thought it could hold 20 items. Keep in mind that the last time I tried putting anything in it it either wouldn't let me or I would put stuff in it and it would end up in my inventory after some time.

Is it still possible to store droids within data droids? Effectively increasing the limit of 5 droids in your datapad?

Yes but my prediction is they will nerf that away from you as soon as they can like the creature storage.

I understand limiting storage due to strain on the sever and that 150 data items is to much. But come on... Make the datapad storage like the item storage max of 10 with only data with a transfer command waypoint and schematicscan be stored. Allow any droids stored in the datapad on another droid to have its inventory affect the storage of the droid it is being stored in. Like a backpack unequiped in your inventory. These seem like simple solutions to make these modules usable. I am not a DE and pay good money for good droids, only to find out that the high end probot i bought is next to useless. The fact that i paid extra to have data storage is now useless and the very large amount of credits i spent on my E6 power droid = a useless walking trash can. I cant even have one of my droids repair another due to the fact i can only have one out at a time. I would like to see the droids work and be usefull. Oh yeah and new paintjobs would be nice.

Thanks thats my rant im done.

Jax I'm curious to find out why you think they have a limit on the number of pets/droids in the Datapad at all, since you seem to feel that using the data storage to get around that limit is ok.

Get OVER it folks. Being able to store droids and pets in a data module was a MISTAKE. It goes against very well established rules on the number of pets and droids allowed. To continue to cry over it and say that it will be "nerfed" instead of "fixed" just shows how immature you really are. Do you really think the Devs want to fix the issues of a class that cries as much as the collective of DE's does? I know half the time I read these forums I feel like dropping the profession out of embarrassment, due to my fellow DE's.

Droids work. Not to the degree they should, but things are getting better every day. We're not the only profession, and not the only one that needs things worked on. Be patient, stop the whining and things will fall into place. The more these forums are filled with whine after whine the less the Devs will even want to get near them.

Is droid (non-data) storage supposed to work? I have an older droid (about a month old) with a storage module, but I can't seem to put anything IN it. I get the hand when I drag an item onto the droid onscreen (not the examine screen, not the datapad screen, the "environment" screen) but the item doesn't go anywhere.

Do I just need to get a new droid? And can you put a Storage Module 6 in an MSE? (I LIKE mouse droids, they're CUTE!)

Well we all shouldn't pay for SWG's mistakes i have 2 greater sludge panthers one wrix and a swamp stalker in my droid which are stuck in the droid for now unless SWG changes the rules . So how do you think I feel but I am not crying about it. It is our right to speak up and say this kinds of stuff because we pay for this game and without our money they would be nothing so our opinion counts don't you think

Pretty sure that all pre-patch storage modules dont work - the devs dont seem to be able to pass the database to apply changes to existing items that should be changed.

The devs have confirmed that pet storage in data modules _will_ be nerfed (if it wasnt done yesterday)

Does anyone know if storage modules 'stack' (i.e multiple item storage modules in the same droid giving a storage capacity equal to the summ of all the modules)

What's the most storage you can get into a droid? I have some that go to 26, but I was wondering if they could go higher. Does anyone know?
