Ok, I got some food and got several amazing assemblies, but they still finish out as 88% 18 Harvest Modules. Did your normal assembly and amazing assembly show the same % when completed ?

My normal assembly showed 17 (using Iwiako instead of Oni).
With food it tended to vary between 17 and 18 ... with varying decimals thats added up to anywhere between 104 and 110. Using Oni yields the higher range.
The best I got was 19 ... using Oni ... using cake +12 assembly .. using port +9 experimentation .. at +1 ex point .. in a research center
I did nothing different than with the ones that yielded 17 or 18 ... just handcrafted a lot of them.
For any droid up to 104 on Naritus I recommend a price of 50k.

What's this "cake" you are using? I have port but didn't know there was cake as well.

It's Pyollian Cake. I can't seem to find much of it though on Kauri. Most of the foods are all combat oriented.
What is this Port though? I can't find anything with that name in the chef tree.

Bespin Port something. Drink that give bonus to Expiremntation. Doesn't give you extra points to expirment with just better chance of getting an Amazing.

Check this list:
http://www.swgcraft.com/chefbuffs.php
For Naritus for instance you get cake at +14 % and port at +10 % ... and getting better every day as chefs find and employ the best resources.

On Tarquiness, I have made 4x 109 Harvestor droids.. I use 1, gave 1 to a friend and trying to auction off the last 2. Sadly, I'm not getting the response I'd hoped to get..
How are others doing ont he different servers??

Wow maybe I should have bought a Droid Assembly tape and not a +25 Droid Experimentation tape.
I always thought that if all boxes were filled, you couldn't get any better.
Interesting.

Sorry to butt in, but my alt is a Master Artisan/Master Architect on Eclipse. I've recently managed to make a 99% experimented AV-21, when by all calculations (and supported by the other 7 AV-21's I've made so far), the materials used should have max'ed out at 96%.
The only difference has been in the assembly stage. Whilst the materials should yield a innitial assembly % of 28%, once, an amazing assembly resulted in an initial % of 29%. This allowed me to experiment the item to the full 99% using just 10 experimentation points. I used +13 pyrollian cake when making it.
Similar results have been voiced on the Weaponsmith's forum, where known combinations of materials have yielded higher than normal final weapon modules. The apparent ratio of this happening is thought to be in the region of 1 in 20/30. But this is pure speculation.
One thing is abundantly clear. Assembly CAN affect the final outcome of the item.

No problem with your butting in; that's interesting to see that someone else got a 29% on assembly.
I have also gotten that, but just a few times, the most memorable being when I made Swoops and Speederbikes with some 980+ SR and UT steel
However, I was never able to get the 29% on a Landspeeder using the same materials! I was not in a Reseearch Center, but standing at my 14+ rated Personal WDG Crafting Station, no chef foods, no tapes, no BE enhanced clothing. Just pure dumb luck, I guess. :->
They ended up experimented out to 97%, but show 2467 hitpoints (out of a possible 2500), which puts them at 98.68% Effective.
They are also much higher priced than my "normal" ones. :->

One thing needs to be mentioned here and that has to do with malleability in a mineral/metal. Mal directly effects the probability of an amazing success. Over 500 mal = better chance at amazing. Under 500mal = better chance at critical fail. This is not speculation and needs to be considered when making your parts. For instance, using crappy resources <low oq/cond> for parts that don't effect the effectiveness of a droid is fine, but pay attention to the mal. use crappy resources with the highest mal you can for the best success. If you have 2 different types of copper and one is slightly lower in oq than the other but has a signifigant higher mal, try it for yourself. You may get the bonuses with the higher mal instead of relying on straight oq.
