i just did my frist prototype of harvesting droids. made an r3 that came out to 101. i need better steel that, the copper i am using is pretty nice, OQ+COND / 2 came out to somewhere in the 940s. the gas i used was like 970s for OQ, but the steel im using isnt too good, OQ+COND / 2 only came out to 730ish on that, lol, so i need to hunt down some better steel. thou im thinking my intial stocking of vendors might be with the 101, thats still higher then most ive seen on naritus, most i have seen are 90-100. probly offer that for around 40K and see how that sells. Its hard for me to price droids, as a doc i can price them based on resources used and then add in 20% for profit. but doc takes much less work in crafting, lol, if i did that with droids they would be far to cheap to be worth the time /shrug.

One thing needs to be mentioned here and that has to do with malleability in a mineral/metal. Mal directly effects the probability of an amazing success. Over 500 mal = better chance at amazing. Under 500mal = better chance at critical fail. This is not speculation and needs to be considered when making your parts. For instance, using crappy resources for parts that don't effect the effectiveness of a droid is fine, but pay attention to the mal. use crappy resources with the highest mal you can for the best success. If you have 2 different types of copper and one is slightly lower in oq than the other but has a signifigant higher mal, try it for yourself. You may get the bonuses with the higher mal instead of relying on straight oq.

For steel use Oni (hahaha, yes, good joke !) or Iwiako.

For pricing suggestions check those websites:

I consider those prices too high for Naritus and usually use 60 % of their price ... as a reference point.

Have fun

I think this tid bit came from the FanFest gathering. Several people who went have mentioned it to me. One specifically said they heard it from a dev but you never know...
