Is it just cooincidence that every one in this thread pulling for DH has made less than 200 posts on the boards? I am for everyone speaking their mind, but, folks we have already gone over this crap and EVERYONE, but YOU, dislikes the idea ofa droid handler.

Oh I see, so cause I dont spend my life posting on these message boards, I dont count in your great order of mighty posters? 0.o

You gotta be kidding me, you can talk to me again when you grow up in a few years mmmk?

I think the right questions is "What the fizzuck are you going to fill four skill trees and 18 skill boxes with?"

I know! Maybe DHs will be the only ones able to program droids! God knows the rest of us DEs are apperantly to stupid to know how to use the complex droids we create.

It's absolutely nonrelevant how much posts someone made, even if someone post his first one it could be a very good one and the 2000th one of somebody can be a very bad one.

You should view it from a balancinc point of view. You can't give the de's all the combat ability. This would be way to good, so anyone wants to be a DE.

Additionaly, you can't give strong combat droids to crafters. This is the same as to give them combat skills and that will never happen.

You should think how a change affect the whole game, not only your profession.

I am an advocate for inclusiveness, if you bother to poke around and read soem other threads you'll see that's true. I'm glad you get to post your viewpoints so that I can dismantle them, I just wish you were were more informed.

And I already am older than you.

Are you a DE? Are you a crafter? The first question is relevant to whether or not you know how borked out profession is, the second speaks to whether or not you understand crafting in general.

Yeah, but look at me? Eighty-something posts, yet I've been in there since beta 2. Postcount isn't important.

But this DH decision is a kick to the nuts indeed. From all of the Rockettes. At once.

You my friend have done nothing to dismantle any of my points, all you seem to want is the Uber Profession, and im sorry, but your not going to have an Uber Profession.

And if your so worried about Post Count, mind if I poke at your Registered Date? 10-02-2003...Mine? Well its 06-28-2003...Sooooo im older than you are.

But im done with flaming. Still dont see a problem with DH. The only thing im interested in now is how do they plan to do it. There is alot of ways to look at a DH Profession, it does not mean a DE is too stupid to understand how to work a Droid.

Does the US Expect the people who build tanks are able to not only drive them but use them well in combat? Or dont you think a well trained Tank Commander would have a better idea on how to use a fighting tank than the person who built it?

I am a crafter, I am no DE. But I have an idea because I know DE's and I talk to other ppl

I think because I am not DE I look at this from a more general point of view. And that's what you should do too, you can't make your profession very powerful if you mess up the whole rest of the game.

This isnt about DE's getting their own uber-pets making them into a hybrid combat/crafter class. Its about DE's wanting to build droids for all players to one day be able to use based on a certification system. Not just a select Few players as would be the case with a DH. Its a droid not a pet. It doesnt take Rocket Science to figure out how to use one. Anyone should be able to. I think the Devs could figure out a Cert system to employ so they just said the hell with it and came up with DH. and blamed us for the new class .

Well the Devs never said that were doomed to build for DH for the rest of the game. The simply said "Heavy" Combat Droids will be for DH's, gezz guys, we still have the Med Droids coming, the Light, to Med Combat Droids, and who knows what else. I think the lot of youare just over reacting.

I thought you meant age. I can assume you're older than 12 at least, because you have to be at least 13 to play, as you say "mmmmk".

I've dismantled your ideas in other threads, that was the point alll along.

I was mostly against a DH profession because, given the track record of progress in adding new content to this game, I doubted that a brand new profession could be developed in any reasonable time. It simply didn't seem like a practical option.

But if this is indeed the path that SOE has chosen and will stick to, I am all for it. I'll bet many people would at least dabble into the DH profession just to get those CL10+ droids, and that will be a very very good thing for droid engineers!
