I like the scouting for resources idea and I would like to see a droid take over maintaining harvester's power and maintenance needs. If droids could help Uncle Owen do the harvest in Star Wars, there shouldn't be any reason they can't in SWG.

I'm very happy with what I am seing here, but I'm worried about one part of it.

You state that 6 100% combat modules are required to get the best effect from a combat droid. That sounds like only a master DE will be able to create a CL10 combat droid. I hope I'm misinterpreting this.

Please tell me this is in reference to Combat Droids HIGHER than level 10.

Thanks!

It is still an early look, but here is our goal for Droid Modules

I know it is still early but, anything for the other profs?

This is early.... The DE forums are filled with mod ideas.

All of them except for the explosion mod are all DE ideas, that have been listed several times.

Looks nice, but I really hope that each publish will just fix one profession.

*won't

This is more of a gut and remake than a fix. I am sure we will continue to get the slow trickle of profession fixes that we are accustomed to.

Jedi will be rare and difficult - No
Increased Dev communication - No
CU will balance combat - No
Most of the bugs from launch fixed - No
saintchuck will continue to pay - No

Yup....so get that gray matter in gear and start seeing how we can post ideas to fill out what TH put forth.

That's our 'charge' now, I think.

Sketh,

TH mentioned that combat modules can only be put into units that are cabable of combat. It is possible that Astromech droids will not be capable of combat therefore any R unit will not be able to have the modules put into it.

If the modules stack 6 high, and if you look at my list of chasis and modules, the advanced R3 is the ONLY droid that can hold 6 modules.

Also, on TC today, one of the patch notes was something about preventing a bug that kept Astromechs from firing....

TH, good job. Just hope people read what you have posted. The immediate question would be what is in the works for above CL10 combat droids?

I have to agree, this looks very promising

I agree that the only CURRENT droid that has 6 slots is the advanced R3. Who knows what they will be sending out when they release the modules. As for TC, I don't know as I don't play on it so I'll take yer word for it
